  • Great for BBG, PWR needs a lot of work

    I subscribed specifically for the PWR program. While the program itself is great, I had too many deal breakers and I ended up canceling my subscription and am deleting the app for the following reasons: -NO OFFLINE ACCESS. I couldn’t work out on my vacation! -The meal plan is unrealistic and takes too much money and time -I couldn’t track how much weight I lifted on prior sets of the same exercise, so I had no way of tracking how much weight I should add -I couldn’t track if I switched out pop push ups for regular push ups -I couldn’t track how many reps I did during burn outs and try to beat that goal the next time -At times requires weight equipment that a lot of gyms don’t have, like even at nice gyms, I almost never see equipment for sissy squats -no way to know how many sets you managed during the 5 minute warm up sequences and no way of using that to try to beat what you did last time -I get that you get a lot, like it’s pretty impressive what you get for the price of the subscription of the sweat app, but I don’t use half of the features and I couldn’t justify the price In the end I recorded the workouts in my bujo and I’m following them that way, with a FREE fitness app that allows me to track weight, reps, sets, and goals better. I think this app is probably great for BBG, but it lacks a lot of things that would also make it a great weight lifting app.

    I loved this app and used it a lot. It was great for achieving goals!! However, I have cxled and unsubscribe numerous times in the past 4 months! I do not understand why I keep getting charged $21!! Please help! I do not want to be charged anymore!
  • Minor improvements would make it perfect

    I’ve been using this app for a few months and I really enjoy the workouts. It can be glitchy, especially with the burnout sessions in Kelsey wells resistance programs. I would love it if there was a feature where you can select the equipment you have and they can offer alternative exercises. For example, a lot of gyms in apartment buildings don’t have a squat rack due to liability concerns so a substitute exercise would be a great option. Maybe it can be something you can select in the app prior to you workout so it can formulate a workout based on the equipment you have. I would also like a feature where you can set the app to auto so you don’t have to keep pressing the next button. I think it takes up a lot of time to have to take my phone out after every set to skip to the 30 second rest. I would also like it to track my workout weights so I can keep tabs on my progress. For example with shoulder press I would like to see what I had lifted the week before so I can push myself the next week if I feel ready. Right now I just have to keep manual notes of it. It would also be great to have it be compatible with Spotify instead of Apple Music.

    Love using Sweat! The app is easy to use, and looks great. I also love how it's integrated with Apple music and my Apple watch. The only issue I have is the temperature on the home screen—it never matches to my location, in Fahrenheit or Celsius 🤔 I've tried checking to see if I can change anything in the settings but so far nothing.

    So I got this cuz the workout goals seemed cool. But looking closer I wouldn’t pay money for this...it’s just like every other app for fitness, just with stick thin women in sports bras instead. The thing that really made me mad was that every single meal plan besides the “standard” option was some sort of vegan bs. Women need meat. I personally feel like garbage if I eat all plants and carbs, meat and veggies for me please!!! Of course these women don’t have any muscle so I guess that makes sense. Roll my eyes and move on.

    I’m really enjoying the workouts! I have always had a hard time making up my own workouts and sticking to them and this app really helps with that. It’s easy to use and is highly motivating! I love that each exercise is demonstrated too. I will say one thing that could be improved is the transition between exercises. It would be nice if you could flow through the workout without having to press the arrow to move onto the next exercise, but that’s just a minor detail. Other than that I think it’s an excellent app that makes me want to go to the gym!

    It’s near perfect for me . The only issue I have is it’s not compatible with Spotify . You have to have Apple Music to enjoy the playlists made for the workouts. But other than that it’s great!

    I am in love with the app and the workout plans it offers! The interface is great and in general I feel motivated to work out. The only thing that I wish the app had is the ability to view favorited meals. The meal plan is really great, but taking a screenshot every time I like a recipe is tedious... And there’s no way to view last weeks recipes :( Adding this would make it a true 5 star app.

    I love the app but recently realized that I have been charged twice by this company- (1) a yearly subscription which I signed up for and (2) a monthly which I never signed up for/ was aware of. For over a year, this company charged me for 2 subscriptions. I received an email back from the company which has a link to their website that says that they "do not offer refunds for unused purchases, accidental purchases, medical conditions, or any similar event unless required by law" and was directed to take it up with Apple. ***Be very diligent about checking your account for additional charges. ***
  • Apple Watch Crashing App

    This app keeps crashing on the Apple Watch. It won’t let you use the Kelsey strong program without crashing or skipping the strength portion of the workout.
