  • Very fun and applicable

    By Yurpdg
As a long time Chinese learner that has looked into many ways to improve my Chinese, this is one of my favorite tools. The stories are interesting to read and very informative on relevant and compelling current events and traditional and cultural topics. Also, they have connected stories that are also entertaining and I really appreciate the creativity. The Ben and lili saga right now is so great. The app also color codes level of difficulty of words according to the HSK which is very helpful, and you can save words as quasi flash cards to practice with. Love this app so much.
  • Expensive but good

The program is great for maintaining one’s reading ability and learning new words, but the annual subscription of $80+ is a lot.
  • A must have!

Fantastic app. Really makes learning easier with innovative use of technology. Lots of free content, but I chose to subscribe to support the makers of this great app.
  • The best app so far for learning Chinese.

Highly recommended. One request: can users download MP3 playlists of the lessons?
  • Great App, Too Expensive

    By AvandraCK
I love this app. It has a lot of what I need in it: Short articles I can get through quickly, different levels, flashcard support... And the free version still has plenty of content. I would love to upgrade, but there's no way I'm paying $12 a month for it. Great for anyone looking to improve their reading (and a little bit of listening). The only thing I can think of to add would be post-reading questions, probably multiple choice.
  • Addictive but way too expensive

I love the app and I tried to subscribe for a month, almost read everything in it and I would like to read it again but the subscription fee is just to much! I hope u can make a little reasonable price for learners, other that this app worth a 10 stars ;)
  • Great app

Mandarin is not an easy language to learn to read in. But this app helps make consistent practice easier, thus making the whole process simpler.
