    Its nice and easy except for some reason my simple address reads to uber eats as the apartment complex next to my house. ive entered more detail in the address since.

    I’ve ordered through ubereats a few times now. It’s been hit or miss, but this last experience was so awful that I was compelled to write this review. Context - woke up to a sick 3 year old, who needed a lot of attention and comfort. Still had to feed the 6 year old so I resorted to Ubereats. The estimate looked like it would work so I went ahead with the order. When the driver was supposed to show up, they pushed back the estimate. At this point, the food was becoming kore of a hassle then anything so I tried to cancel. No one would pick up at Ubereats. So I closed the app, went through it again, still no one answers. Then they push back the estimate again. So it is now TWICE as long as originally estimated. So, while dealing with a sick kid, I try to cancel the order again. No ones picking up. I keep calling back and finally get ahold of someone, about a minute after the food was picked up. Then the food shows up. It’s cold. Somethings missing. I’m really mad, and stressed. I feel that I haven’t gotten good service. I call Ubereats. Everyone wants to tell me how they are customers too and blah, blah, blah, but no one seems to find the bad service something that requires more than an apology. So I keep asking for supervisors. I get as high as I can get at their call center. This lady blatantly lied to me about when I ordered the food. Then keeps telling me that it wasn’t late because the estimate kept changing. She won’t do anything for me expect compensate me for the missing item. I guess I’m lucky for that I suppose. Needless to say, the whole experience was awful. I just want the fee I paid to Uber back. They didn’t earn it. But the customer service lady wouldn’t even do that. Because Uber cares far more about making money than providing a good service. They don’t think bad service should mean they lose money. I’m done with this service and I will be letting every single person I know know exactly why.
  • Great Customer Service from Uber, Not Restaurants!

    I have no idea why everyone claims the customer service is terrible. I order from UberEats a lot and I’ve had plenty of orders where the wrong items were delivered, items were missing, or the pickup/delivery took too long. Whenever something goes wrong, you have to use the “Help Section” in the app. They will give you the option to call (and provide the phone number) or type a message to Uber’s customer service. Customer Service responds promptly with 24 hours and will usually honor requests for refunds without you having to go back and forth with them. As long as you make your case clearly known, they will provide a refund within 24 hours. A credit only applies if the order took too long or what you ordered came with additional items that weren’t delivered (ex. You ordered a steak that came with fries: you got the steak but not the fries.). Depending on your case, a refund could be provided for these scenarios too. As long as you explain all the details of what went wrong with your order, their customer service will listen and assist you. And I mean UberEats’ customer service. Calling the restaurants themselves will not solve any issues. The great customer service is the ONLY reason I stay with this app and continue to order from any of the partnered restaurants (even the ones that mess the orders up, and I mean often). Thank you, customer service of UberEats!!!

    I used to order using Uber Eats at least once a month. Yesterday I ordered food and the delivery person called saying the gate to my apartment complex didn’t work, that she couldn’t get in. This was disappointing as I wasn’t feeling well and the entire point of paying for delivery is that you don’t have to leave the house. I agreed to meet her where she was, and spent two minute putting on clothes. By the time I got there she was gone and the order was marked “delivered.” When I tried to call her back on the number she called me on, it went straight to “customer service,” meaning a robot that said it couldn’t connect my call. I reported the meal missing via the app by sending a message. Instead of responding immediately, customer service decided to take their sweet time - approximately 8 hours. They gave me a refund. Talk about doing the bare minimum. A small credit would have been nice given that I wasted an hour calling their “customer service” line and trying to contact my delivery lady before ordering food from a competitor. Absolutely horrendous customer service. Already deleted the app- going to go with Caviar. At the very least, the Caviar folks aren’t completely incompetent, which is something I wish I could say for Uber Eats.
  • Worst customer service ever.

    This is absolutely the worst service ever. They cancel your order randomly with no explanation. And then when you try to call them, they're unable to give you numbers for people can actually help you. Apparently they don't have phone numbers there? Or emails? Or even last names? They charge $4.99 for a fee for their terrible service and for no way to contact the higher ups. Don't waste your money and don't fuel this horrible service. I hope they go out of business soon. What a nightmare.

    If you want to order food and then not have it show up for 3 hour ... this is your app. Sorry but , that has happened more than food showing up on time . In fact , food never shows up on time , atleast 30 mins late , but often a few hours late. Plenty of options In this space , this the worst one

    This is absolutely the worst delivery service of all time! The customer Service is absolutely horrible! They do not care for their customers in any way and leave them starving all the time! They do not care that food never arrives to their customers! The app says the food is being prepared and then the order auto cancels when the restaurant closes! They deliberately falsely promise deliver to customers and the customer never gets the food!
