  • Perfect if you like to read more than one book at a time!

I am one of those who likes to read multiple books at once, but never knows when to put one down and pick up another. This app gives me just enough pages of a book, then I can read another. Bonus that it connects to Goodreads! LOVE IT.
  • Wonderful app

You’ll be reading more than you thought you could in no time. The $2.99 for highlights and reading ahead is absolutely worth it. Reading Shakespeare is great: you’ll realize, after only a few minutes, that the language starts to seem normal without all the footnotes that are usually there to complicate things unnecessarily.
  • Reading stuff I’ve always meant to read

Really nice app, takes away the work of remembering to read. The app presents the material very nicely and it has a great selection. Good stuff.

  • Good job! Worth the time.

I’ve always wanted to find time to read “the classics” and now I can do that. All in pre-set, pre-proportioned snippets of indulgence, this app takes away the gap of intimidation projected by these books. I am so happy to be reading such well written, original, and moving stories. All conveniently located on my phone. I can immerse myself within a matter of seconds, any where- any time. I highly recommend this app!
  • Excellent app

Really love the concept of this app, as well as the implementation. The design is clean and intuitive, and it’s got me back in a habit of reading everyday. It’s hard to sit down and pick up a book with all of life, but this simplifies and initiates that time for me each morning.
  • Enjoyed

I have enjoyed using Serial Reader for the past few weeks and I ended up purchasing the extra features. Two things I'd love to see addressed; the sync, while it works, is a little off. I complete a serial on my phone and sync. I pick up the iPad and tap sync, and it still shows the serial not completed. I would assume it would state I was done with that one for the day. I would also like to see some marking, a badge or similar on finished books, maybe I'm just getting old but I've read 12 books already and I'm forgetting which ones they were when browsing something new to read. I can just see this getting worse. I'd still like to see the detail for the summary and other similar books, so I wouldn't want them hidden. Update: I just opened this up today from an extended beak and the books I’ve read now have a check mark on them, awesome. I’ll have to check out the sync and if that’s better it will be worth a star bump! Thanks!!
  • Great Fun!

  • Excellent motivation

I really enjoy waking up and having a bite sized piece of good literature to read each day. I also like that there is a meter to measure what kind of a streak I am on, which motivates me to keep it at 100 percent. There is a wide variety of books to choose from, and it helps me get through some of the more difficult reading, such as Dantes Inferno.
  • Easy way to read great books!
