Helps me read in bite sized chunks. Great selection for classics
  • Love this app!

I’m using this app to read some of the classics that I have avoided due to their imposing length. I love the easily read small bites that come every day. If I feel like reading longer I can, but I am at least making progress if all I read is that days fragment. I’m finally finishing books I’ve been intimidated by.
  • I really enjoy it

What a wonderful idea. I've been able to get literature I never thought I'd have the patience to read because of this app. It gives me one issue from the book a day. Gradually I'm able to read famous written works and I'm starting to feel proud of myself.
  • Amazing

I am obsessed with this app. For years I have been saying that I want to read more of the classics, but I always start them and then stop. I love that this app gives me bite-sized chunks of these books I've been meaning to read. I look forward to my subscriptions every day. Keep up the good work! This is definitely a labor of love.
  • A great app created by one person.

A fantastic app that provides free books on a daily basis with no IAPs unless you choose to add some well-worth-it premium features to your account for a mere $2.99. The app is updated regularly, the UI is simple and clean, and the reading list is dense, well-picked, and continuously updated. Basically any feature you could want is already thought of and integrated, including Goodreads account syncing, night mode, and a selection of great fonts to choose from. A fantastic app!

Truly perfect and amazing and easy to use.
  • Disappointed

I was disappointed to find that I have to “support” the app by paying to finish books.
  • Absolutely love it

Serial Reader is the perfect app for someone who enjoys reading classic literature but doesn’t necessarily have the time to pick up a book. I love getting a 10-20 minute read delivered to my phone each day with a little notification. The app is free, but for $2.99 you can add cloud sync, highlighting, read ahead, pause and read later, unlock more fonts, and support Michael! That’s right—this app was created by one man who is devoted to bringing great literature right to your hands. 5/5 stars!
