  • Good instrument. 1 major flaw

    By Cshriner
Very well designed instrument. Lots of potential, particularly with the ability to load my own sounds. And that’s where the major flaw comes in. The inability to share/transfer sounds between apps is a deal breaker for me. At the very least, the Moodscaper should be compatible with AudioShare. When I’m using my iPad to do sound design, I have to transfer the completed sound(s) to iTunes on my Mac and then transfer them back to the iPad in order to get the sounds into Moodscaper. Please make Moodscaper compatible with AudioShare. All of the apps I use for synthesis, sound design and processing are compatible with AudioShare and allow me to quickly transfer my files without using an external machine.
  • One of the most enjoyable instruments

    By Senteag
This is so much fun, and so forgiving to the player. Everything sounds good on it, but you can truly compose, too.
  • Awesome newness

If you are looking to make some mellow type of music this is hands down the best app for you to start on
  • Wonderful musical thingamabob

Worth every penny. Whether in performance or play mode, produces a wondrous array of Ambient melody. Does need Audiobus support though- that would be perfection.
  • Awesome! Except for one thing.

I absolutely love this app. I only gave it a four star rating because, like others, I wish it had Audiobus 3 support. It's the only thing holding it back!
  • Fantastic!!

Great app!! I use the auto-play feature most often but the interactive keypads are fun too. The free sound samples available on the product website are very good. Highly recommended. If you like ambient music this is a must buy.
  • Love it

This app is seriously cool. My only beef is that it is not compatible with Audiobus.
  • Beautiful and functional, works with AUM and is great in studio and live

First, if you want a manual most developers have one on their website which is linked here at the bottom of the app's description page (App Developer's Website). My advice is to open it in Safari and the select "Open in iBooks...", which is located at the top of the Safari window (this is true for any PDF loaded into Safari). iBooks automatically saves the PDF which then can be organized into a "Synths" category if desired. Ok, about Moodscaper, it's a beautiful app which currently loads into AUM and routed into AudioBus but not AudioBus itself. However, the included sounds are wonderful. Adding your own sounds is easy and the current functionality is good. Future functionality looks to be excellent. Highly recommended for its future feature and upcoming features. I advice looking at the developers website and YouTube channel to learn much about Moodscaper. There's another popular iOS music app YouTuber who has some excellence videos about this app. Personally I'm using Moodscaper more and more in my productions. I also you it live with a band I play in as I really enjoy generators or generative apps (going back to Bloom).
  • Surprisingly good

Ambience for when nature sounds and meditation music gets tiresome at work. Also nice that it doesn't repeat. It'd be nice if the buttons were labeled somehow...
  • Mesmerizing sound! Truly an IOS Gem and a must have app for lush Soundscapes!

    By Musikman4Christ
First off, the reviewer who said cheesy strings, well, let me say, you have freedom of speech but you are absolutely wrong! I just bought this amazing app, and let me tell you, from all the recent apps, i bought, this one is the one that has my whole heart and attention right now! The deep bass sound, crips lush and clear highs of the string sound is just completely mesmerizing! I am humbled by the beauty of the sound of this app. I commute to work and this app played the whole way on the background and there could have been a raging war going on outside the metro train, i would have never known. My mind and souls were just completely engulfed in the sweetness of the sound coming out of this app! I plan to record the output to Auria Pro or Cubasis, and add all kinds of after effects. There is ability to add custom samples and a lot of free ones are provided by the developer, but I have yet to try them. I can't wait to do so though. Also, to start, go to Youtube and there are great tutorial videos for learning the basics of what buttons do what. Once I did this, the app truly opened up for me. There is one that Sir Doug from "TheSoundTestRoom" made which truly showcases how awesome this app sounds. Check it out. In summary, this app is for any serious IOS musician wanting to have an app to make luscious deep and mesmerizing soundscapes. It truly is awesome!
