  • Love this App

This is an awesome app. I have a Kinetic trainer and use the Zwift app that is installed on my Apple 4K TV. I had some problems in the beginning but then realized that you have to charge the Apple 4K remote. I also realized that the battery in Bluetooth device on my trainer had gone bad. Once I fixed these two items, I haven’t had any problems since.

The iOS app has been working flawless since Feb 2018. No dropouts etc. Had to restart my phone one time because I lost volume on the App. Prob a phone issue. It’s great?

Yesterday, smooth sailing, today, Zwift forgot/lost track of all my devices (Wahoo). Wahoo apps connect just fine. I used to love Zwift, but I can’t afford this down time! Please verify that you screwed something up & fix it fast!
  • Pixelated bike

The bikes are looking all pixelated, what’s up with that? Does anyone else have that happen?
  • Able to pair my Apple Watch 3

I am no longer able to run so I switched to cycling. I found the app love the platform, however I can pair my Apple Watch series 3 to the cycling portion. I see they have a spot for the running side. I have looked up YouTube where at one point they did have the heart rate monitor. Now the only 2 options I have are power sensor and speed sensor. Ugh!
  • Reliability 🤦🏻‍♂️

Zwift usually takes a few tries to get started .. but after that it works great.
  • iOS version is garbage

Over the the last couple of months ( really since they raised prices ) you can’t use the Apple TV version without it crashing 45-60 minutes into your ride. Cancelling subscription and trying something else.

Most negative reviews are based on people that don’t know how to set up or use janky equipment. Works great with a solid trainer. Very rarely have server side issues, maybe once every three-four months. Power from Wahoo kicker is spot on with my Quarq. Road feel is very good. There is a slight delay to wattage increases in erg mode but that is not a big issue unless you are doing 5 second sprints. Even then, you can adjust the planned effort a little to compensate. Zwift Team is always responsive to support and requests.
  • ERG mode is horribly inconsistent

Equipment: I have a Tacx Vortex; updated firmware and calibrated correctly, and an iPad Air 2. ERG mode support in Zwift is so bad that this app actually makes me want to train less. What is the point of a smart trainer w/ERG mode if it constantly disables itself and ruins the segment of your training ride (not to mention causing wattage fluctuations that basically make you fail)? It’s a great app ignoring this flaw, but it ruins it for me. I’ll stick to TrainerRoad.
