  • Most recent update is a naked money grab

Overall good game with great story and graphics. Problem is advancing has always been a grind. The recent update now requires real money to get knives and dog food to stockpile. This makes survival and advancement even more difficult without spending real money.

Crashes when loading Graphics can be better, Fog and blur are sometimes just tricks for lazy texturing. Reload? Never have I played a first person shooter where my hands are or what’s obstructing me from seeing what’s in front of me. Also, greedy dev = spamming you with “deals” I don’t have the patience to calculate the odds of the loot mechanics. If you are giving players three bags to choose from and one item in each bag, the odds should be 33.3333333333333% for each item. I can guarantee you that is not what’s going on here. It is just an illusion that makes you think you have a good chance for upgrade parts. This is to encourage you to watch the ad so that they can make more money. Pretty sure that is illegal in multiplayer scenarios. It should be illegal as well if there is any monetary gain from the game.

  • Honest Review (Pls Read)

    By 100% Honest Game Reviews
Firstly for all the people saying this is “pay-to-play”, it is most definitely not. The money system isn’t perfect, but you don’t have to spend real money to progress in the game. I’ve been playing this game for about 3 months and have completed the first ending and am halfway to getting the second ending, without spending a dime. Most of the people complaining are people who probably want to complete the game in a month with super overpowered weapons and just obliterate everything in their path and he done with it. Which isn’t what a game should be about, games are about progression, and making you want to play them more over time; which this game does pretty well. Yes, earning Silver and Gold is a bit hard, but it keeps it fun by adding the second and Elite endings which are the same rounds, but harder so it feels all brand new. All while earning small bits of money and gold, which adds up over time. So the Silver/Gold need to be a bit easier to earn, but otherwise, this is not a “pat-to-play”. 8-10 for the money system. Second, the Events and Energy need to be adjusted. The tokens take absolutely forever to regenerate, making it impossible for your average player; who play maybe 30 minutes to and hour a day, to complete all the levels in an event without buying V.I.P pass (which is a complete waste) or using hard earned gold. But on the other hand, the events are super fun, give you high powered weapons that are really cool, and gives you a break from the main story. I understand having depleting energy, and I think the total amount of energy is a good max, but definitely make the wait time shorter. 8 minutes is a bit long for a single bar of energy, when doing a new run takes two bars and a previously done run takes one. And there isn’t even a 100% chance you’re going to complete it! I would take it down to maybe 3 to 5 minutes, because 8 is simply too long of a wait (referring to my previous statement) for the play time of an average player. 7-10 for Events and Energy Third, I think there should be a larger variety to the zombies. And NOT as a buyable product, but a free update that adds new zombies. I know that each one has a certain shot level and speed, but a few new zombies would go a long way. It would make the game more interesting and seem more realistic when you see crowds of zombies huddled together. Fourth, there should be a “Reload” button, I’ve seen several reviews where this has been said and I think it’s a really good idea. That way you’re not heading into a crowd with only one shot in a large clip at your disposal but unable to utilize without wasting your ammo just to get a full clip. Fifth, The locations and storyline is amazing, the diversity of running through an oilfield and then a crowded highway is really interesting and the storyline makes you want to play as much as possible with all the amazing cliffhangers. The voice acting could have been better, it seemed a bit stale and unexciting. The dialogue was great, the voice actors? Not so much. James was great, the acting was on point and you could hear how hard the actor worked for the tone and emotion. Hellen was Ok, it seemed very forced a lot of the time and unrealistic, when the story got dramatic, but was fairly good. Maggie was horrible, good child voice actors are hard to find, but you could have done better. Sometimes she sounded really sad and/or happy, and sometimes it sounded extremely fake and brought me out of the moment. 5-10 for diversity, story and acting Lastly, I haven’t experienced many glitches myself. The zombie reach ranges sometimes changes a bit, to where they seem to catch you when you’re far enough away, but it’s not too often. Not too bad of an issue, but it annoying and is fixable. Simple error to fix. Overall, Into the Dead 2 is an extremely fun game to play, and is really well made. From the farms to the highways the design, diversity, and graphics are incredible. The zombies are bloody, noisy, and vicious, like they should be, with great animation and design to boot. The events and story is extremely interesting and fun to play, but could have some work done to make them even better. The money system could use a lot of work and updating, but is still playable and not too tedious. Total review is a 7-10, great game but could use some work. I look forward to future updates and games.

  • Good, but Needs to be Updated for iPad Pro

    By batsai
This game is great, no doubt about it. However, it needs to be updated for iPad Pro- there are large black bars around the game. Once that is done, this will be a five star game.
