As an experienced mobile gamer, let me just as that as far as freemium goes, this game is as good as it gets. The few negative reviews I read below were written by players who were not very sophisticated. I buy some games, play some freemium games, and even buy IAP on occasion. This game though I haven’t bought any IAP and I’m doing great. The features keep the game super interesting. I might buy some IAP in the future — tho even if I do, it’s going to be a small amount. I can’t tell who the pay-to-win players are—I’m sure they are out there, but you don’t get smacked in the face by them randomly which is good game design. All in all this is one of the biggest surprise gems I’ve found on the App Store. It may seem so fast paced at first that the individual character perks whiz by and don’t make much difference, but that is so far from the truth. Just stick with it, and the matches will slow down in your head (tho not on the physical clock), and the deep strategy is suddenly there for the indulging.

Ok. After updating to the newest iOS, the game no longer crashes. I’m not happy about always having to update my OS, but it is what it is. I must say that I am addicted to this game. It’s quite fun, but I have run into some issues that bums me out. As a pointer to the beginners, DO NOT power level your cards if you have any desire to complete the “Path of Hero” side quests. I purchased Gold with gems that I earned in-game, and leveled the heck out of my cards. I hit a side quest that is having me level up my cards 40 times, and I am at a point where it’s not so easy to level up any longer. It’s the same issue with evolving cards. Level up and evolve as you see fit, but you’ve been warned. NOTE TO THE DEVELOPERS: I’m not sure your “Invite” process is working. I used the link from my Facebook to help my wife create her account, and she has reached League 15 already, but I did not receive any chests for inviting her. Likewise, my brother who invited me did not receive anything when I surpassed League 15. Either your process is broken, or it’s not a very good. What’s going on here? I’ll be filing an issue with Support.

Great game I love it !
  • Good game but can't play

Brawl is whack you only get 50 gold when you win. Waste of time. Ok so they replied and told me to play dark tower. First of all you don't unlock dark tower until later. And then when I finally got to play it, I only get one play per 11 hours or else I have to pay 50 gems. Wth is this?! The rewards are so crappy for 50 gems. So you proved my point further that there is nothing to do in this game. This game is fun when you can actually play. But often times I open this game to play and I have absolutely nothing to do. All my journey "points" are gone (why is this limited??) and all my chest slots are full so no point in fighting. So I end up just closing the game because there is literally nothing to do.
  • Solid card game

Solid card game - nothing terribly unique but worth playing. I suggest buying a starter pack - only $5 and will get you some better cards earlier, making progression faster. Cheers!
  • Dark tower meh..

Dark tower isnt even close to balanced often pitting you vs opponents that have way stronger decks basically wasting gold and time playing it.
  • Can be fun

    By DarkSupermam
At times it is fun.. dark tower is useless as stacks way against you just waste of coins Fun when get a good match often it is very one sided .. if they get a high hp tower that adds attack.. you are screwed you loose even if they are lower level with worse cards and no skill Could be sooo much more fun if play fields started with similar items rather than 1 side getting all buffs and other side tumble weeds
  • Be aware! Do NOT put in real money

    By zephyrus,liu
This game is good and addicting, but don’t put in real money! Before I put in any money, I can often get legendary cards and a plenty of epic cards when I summon with the free diamond. HOWEVER, once I put in real money, ALL cards I can get from SemiGods summon are now rare cards, which are the worst I can get from SemiGods!!! Meanwhile once I put in real money I see a summon option “God of War” - which is only available if I reach VIP7 (through paying way more!!). I know developers what us to put in MORE money, but that is very, very disappointing: is that how you treat people who actually spent money? Hope that developers fix this problem, or otherwise I would not be willing to continue spending on this game (and I believe there are others thinking the same way Thanks

Avoid this game. The pricing schemes and extremely overpowered hero’s for purchase make this the very ugliest of crass, misanthropic game design.
