Description

Take the awesome power of your Sony PlayStation 4 console, and give it the portability and convenience of the Nintendo Switch. Stream your PS4 games to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and play from anywhere. Never again will your gaming be interrupted when someone else needs to use the TV! R-Play features: • Play your PlayStation 4 games while away from home by streaming over the internet • Supports HD 720p video (1080p for PS4 Pro) at 60 frames per second for crisp, smooth gameplay • Control games with any MFi game controller, or the built in virtual on-screen controller • Highly tuned performance with extremely low lag • Multiple profile support so you can use any number of different PlayStation 4 consoles or PSN accounts • Customise the virtual on-screen controller to your liking • Quick and easy one-time setup, start playing within seconds Notes --- • Playing over the internet requires your home network to be set up correctly. In most cases R-Play does this for you automatically. Some users may need to perform this set up manually, according to the instructions found in the included help guide. • For the best streaming experience, your PS4 should be connected to your home network via LAN cable and your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch should be connected to a 5GHz WiFi network. • Your PS4 must be linked to a PSN account (however, R-Play does NOT require your PSN password). • If you need any assistance, our technical support team are on hand and are committed to quickly resolving any issues that you may encounter. It would be great that this app is for MAC OS as well. Better working than the original PSN app. Please consider to create app for the Mac OS. Sure to be downloaded from my side.
  • Better than a Vita

No lie...I sold my Vita because I found more use in this app. There’s 2 keys though: 1. Learn how to open the ports on your router so you can internet play on your data anywhere in the world. Also have your PS4 connected via Ethernet. 2. Get a wireless Bluetooth controller or what I personally use, a GameVice controller. I wouldn’t seriously use this app without one, unless the game you’re playing is simple and doesn’t require advanced controls. Once you do these 2 things you’ll be able to pretty much use this anywhere for any game.

So far it works better than either the official PC/Mac/iOS app or my Vita. I can use the power shell for my iPhone SE for the non analog controls. Uses some battery though but that is to be expected. It even works over the internet, which is more than I can say for the official app which is waaaay to finicky about consistent connection speeds.
  • I’m shocked

I honestly didn’t expect this to work so well. I would recommend this if you have a 5G network though. Anything shower and I think there would be major delays.

The biggest reason why this is why better is because you don’t have to be inside the house you can be anywhere and play ps4
  • When It Works, It’s Okay, But It’s Inconsistent

3/5; Lacks consistent image quality, even on 1000 mb/s internet speeds.

I got it to work, but the quality is terrible, the games don’t stop lagging, etc. I’m playing on an iPhone XR by the way.
  • Well now...
