  • The classes won’t stay downloaded :(

    By miki2028
I use MasterClass across devices (mobile, laptop, tablet). When you go to the downloads section of the account settings it’ll show the classes that were downloaded and then when you exit and return, none of the classes will be there. When you go to the individual class listing it’ll show the mobile/downloaded icon indicating that lesson was downloaded, it won’t play (I’ve had several weeks of testing this behavior out in stopped/stuck bused and trains). :( The content is wonderful but the downloads issue is insanely frustrating and makes it so that I can only consistently use it when I have cell reception (which isn’t available for most of my morning and afternoon commute) or at home if I’m not already worn out.
  • Why do I have to update this app all the time?

    By Isbereine qq
It hassles me way too often? It just plays videos—don’t overthink it.
  • iPad app is horrible

    By Young Nicky
Your iPad app is built horribly, it keeps crashing and does not work at all. Please fix this
  • Fun learning

Bought the unlimited package. Completed the wine reviewing session already. I am interested in a few more session and look forward to watching. The cost may be justified if you enjoy an organized format of fun-facts on available topics. Otherwise, a round of informative YouTube videos may suffice.
  • Offline Content Bug

    By Hajhzhshzhhzhzhshshhs
The download offline feature on this app is awful. I can’t see the videos I download or they don’t download or they say they download but then I can’t find them when in airplane mode. This service costs too much for a bug like this to persist.

Whoever created this app is a genius. Where can I buy stocks in this? This app is going nowhere but up!
  • AWESOME! Well worth the investment!

I saw Masterclass many months ago and was VERY interested in checking it out. If you want to be successful you've gotta model others who have what you desire, but model them in finding yourself and your truth. I bought the full year Masterclass a little over a week ago as I'm always looking to further my knowledge and skills at anything I do. Being a full-time musician I've already watched the Carlos Santana & Christina Masterclasses and they were both very insightful! There is so many years of experience between those two amazingly talented musicians and to delve into the minds of people that are so successful at what they do is absolutely invaluable! I believe the trick to getting the best out of this Masterclass and learning in general is to listen with an open mind and pick the things that YOU deem useful for yourself that you can apply to whatever it is you are doing and just discard the rest. I mean even if you get 1-2 useful things per Masterclass that you can utilize for the rest of your life to make you a better musician, actor, or whatever it is you do then it's worth it! I always say that you have to be willing to invest in yourself because if you're not willing to invest in yourself then why should anyone else invest in you? I'll leave you with this quote that sums it up very nicely, "A true master realizes he/she is always a student." So glad I decided to give Masterclass a try as I've already gotten so much valuable info in just 2 classes and I'm planning on taking many more over the year membership! MASTERCLASS ROCKS!

  • Terrible App; Excellent Course

    By bparker86
This app is an injustice to the course I am taking. Maybe 2 stars is harsh, but 3 stars is almost too kind. The app’s most egregious fault is when you download lessons. Not only is downloading too slow, it is unreliable, and worse still, if you re-start your phone, you lose all previous downloads, forcing you to start the (slow, unreliable) download process all over again. In effect, the app fills you with frustration and not learning. It distracts you from the serene beauty of the lessons it should deliver. Interface-wise, it looks good, and seemingly simple enough to navigate. What I don’t like is how it tries too hard to get you to look and see other classes. I just want to get to my class, and not be distracted by the other goodies. Last, but not least, it is a slow app. It lags behind my navigation choices. For example, nothing happens when I press download 3 times, and then too late after, 3 pop up options show up one after the other. Argh. Since I already paid for the class, I sure hope this app gets better.
  • So far good quality video bUT

    By lbmac
Wish they had more variety of writing classes. I.e. short stories, magazine articles, poetry. Not everyone wants to write a novel....
