There was a lot of hype over this app and I really wanted to like it, but it doesn’t seem to do anything you can’t find in free alternatives.

Upgraded our phone to 8+ for better pictures of our infant. Needed an easier way to edit as we have little time to use PSE anymore. This is easy enough for the sleep deprived to use to make beautiful pictures while they nap!

Honestly this app is so much better than any other editing app I’ve ever had, even the first Afterlight which is what I use to ALWAYS use so I’m so happy this one came out :) definitely loving!

The app continues to crash when I try to skew my images. Please fix this is very frustrating.

Really liking this one. It’s fast to get some photo magic going on, much thanks to the sparse UI which typically offer up just one slider, or the very basic/essential parameters for any given process. In this app it works really well. Sometimes you don’t need a million parameters and cluttered UIs to add a bit of magic to a photo. Especially if the app is good at what it does to start with, which this one most definitely is. ————— Few issues as of current version with the iPad update (December)...iPad Pro 10,5” latest iOS. 1. Editing filter settings (on the stock filters) isn’t reflected in real-time, you only see the results after tapping the check mark. Obviously this will get fixed, but pointing it out here just Incase no one else has. 2. I had a crash (while messing around with the perspective, I couldn’t reproduce it tho) and I was surprised to...not see the picture I was working on when opening the app again. There’s no “save project” kinda thing in this app as far as I can tell, but I’m thinking that might not be a bad idea to implement? Working with music apps (on iOS as well), they usually save a project snapshot in the background every time you make a change to any parameter (the DAWs at least), because they are by their nature resource heavy apps that might crash and, they are productivity apps. Crashes, losing work, brings back memories of yesterday’s iOS. Even if no save project function is planned, a temp save that constantly saves in the background, so when it crashes, you’re safe and/or if you need to close the app and come back later, just close it, the last thing you were doing would open back up later. Something like that.👌 I know this is optimized for a fast workflow, but...por favor, dev(s)? 👊 3. Sometimes you really, really wanna nudge that flare (or whatever) a bit up/down/left/right, so nudge controls? Obviously just putting your finger on the screen and move it around would work as well. 4. Pinching to zoom-in doesn’t zoom into the area of the photo you are pinching (it zooms into the center of the photo which means you gotta zoom, stop zoom, pan, zoom again, stop and pan). A minor issue, but having the pinch/zoom work just like in most other apps would be nice. ———— Edit: 5. Grain isn’t really grain, it’s just a couple of different grainy overlays where you change a transparency parameter. If you guys could implement proper grain in this one it would lift the app even further. Using an overlay for grain will only make your photo look washed out but, grain is one of those tools that will make (or break) a photo. Please consider it? :-)
