    I downloaded this app years ago. It use to do so many things automatically for you. I loved the app and praised it to many people. Now to get many features it promotes you have to pay for them with premium. What a shame.

    Because so much content is uploaded by users, there isn’t necessarily an accurate measurement of what you are consuming. For example, a user might input a type of food and fill in the calories, but then they don’t fill in all the other statistics (like protein, fibre, etc.) meaning that insights aren’t right, nor is it accurate if you have daily goals to meet other than calories. On top of that, I have seen many entries by users that aren’t even the correct calories. Side random note: I have also discovered that at least 80% of the users can’t spell “cauliflower.” In the end, I’m disappointed by what I’ve paid for... a service that isn’t actually giving me the information I thought I would get. Fine for the person who wants to generally track their meals and basic calories. Really NOT recommended for someone who is tracking macros or specifics (eg. Fibre, protein, etc.). I personally won’t be renewing my subscription when it’s up.

  • Updated: Apple Watch app doesn’t work properly

    Update: after being referred to LoseIt support, I can’t recommend use of the Apple Watch app. “Leigh-Ann” blamed Apple for the fact that their Watch app doesn’t work, and offered no other suggestions. LoseIt, don’t make a bad product and then make excuses that it’s beyond your control that it stinks. Original: There are a ton of features built into the Apple Watch app that don’t work. It can take hours to update after entering food into the iPhone app- if it ever updates at all! I’ve never seen a LoseIt! card show up on any of my Siri watch faces, despite having set it up on all of them. I can’t wait until the day they can make the app work on Apple Watch so I can update my review. LoseIt! Team- in case you’re wondering, this is not my first Apple Watch, I’ve tried it on several, I’ve unpaired my watch, reinstalled the app on the watch, it just doesn’t work. 🤞 hope you can fix!

    I lost 40lbs over 8 months (with light exercise) and using this app. My father lost 25lbs in 6 months. It took a week to get used to the budget and figure out how to get bonus calories but it kept me motivated.

    I don’t like that I have to go to the website to see my friends profile. That seems silly. I use the app because it makes it easier. I don’t want to have to login into the website every time I want to see how many calories or what meal my friend ate. Pretty disappointed.
