  • Ugly, slow and non-searchable

    By assault_is_eternal
I expected it to be ugly from the screenshots. I didn't expect it to be searchable - and it's not. But I thought that it would be fast - boy was I wrong. The redraw rates are slower than "Maps" is (when I'm using Wi-Fi). It just blows my mind that almost 10 years ago you could buy an offline mapping program for the Palm or Pocket PC that was vector based, fast as lightning, completely searchable, gave you directions and was completely interactive on top of all that; told you which directions streets went in when you tapped on them, what the street name was, etc. And for the iPod Touch, we get programs that emulate pieces of paper. Well, you can upgrade your foldable maps with this program.
