No need to place your device in bed - Sleep Cycles uses sound analysis sleep tracking. Sleep Cycle helps millions of people all around the world wake up rested. Continuously rated as the best smart alarm clock on the market. Featured in: CNN, Wired, The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, BBC, The New York Times. #1 Top Paid app in United States #1 Top Paid app in United Kingdom #1 Top Paid app in Japan #1 Top Paid app in Germany #1 Top Paid app in France ...and more. * Our patented technology monitors your sleep movements using sound or vibration analysis. * Sleep Cycle then finds the optimal time to wake you up during a 30 minute window that ends at your set alarm time. * Recommended placement: Near the bed or on the floor. As you sleep you go through different phases, ranging from deep sleep to light sleep. The phase you are in when your alarm goes off is critical for how tired you will feel when you wake up. Since you move differently in bed during the different phases, Sleep Cycle can use the microphone or accelerometer in your iPhone to monitor your movements and determine which sleep phase you are in. • Really cool!

    By GreeneMan98
This is an awesome alarm clock, but being able to read statistics about your sleep and seeing a graph of how you're sleeping is super cool too! 5/5, as good of an alarm clock as you're going to get. Edit: Something I would really love to suggest is when setting a time to wake up, give us the number of sleep we would be getting if we fell asleep right at that time. Just a little “estimated time to rise: 8 hours 36 minutes” type of deal!

It's been OK app, but it auto renews your subscription and charges $2.00 😡
  • Apple Watch would make me come back to this

    By jdbellis
I left this app after having it for a long time because they still haven’t given an Apple Watch app. I really would like to have the added accuracy of this.
  • I like it

    By Kinohami
A lot! But the premium cost if I remember, is a bit too expensive. Gladly, the Sleep Cycle capabilities for non-premium users are still great :)
  • Stops Monitoring

    By Arturo Falconer
Ultimately the app stops monitoring for no reason, specially when used without alarm. Has happened to me since iPhone 7 now with X.
  • Nice features but needs Apple Watch integration

    By Chazmanian Devil
This app tracks your sleep solely by listening to your breathing and snoring. It’s tracking would be far more reliable if it captured biometric data from an Apple Watch and fitness bands
  • Used to be perfect - now perfect again

    By Boston1234321
The latest version with the iPhone X turns off the alarm if the phone accidentally fall on the floor during the night. It happened several times. Please fix! —————————- Update - the developers looked at my log and found out my phone was restarting in the middle of the night. With the latest iOS release, this problem has been fixed. Great app and great support!!!!!
  • Set it for 6-6:30...Went off at 5

    By Alldenmic
Helpfully, at the lightest point, so I couldn’t get back to sleep. Of all the things to get wrong! I deleted the app to keep it from going off again, and I was so irritated, I downloaded it again, just so I could leave a review.
  • Give me an Apple Watch option

    By Presto_Mobe
Why is there no Apple Watch option? Could you get more accurate data by using the phone and watch in conjunction? As far as movement/heart rate. 🤷🏼‍♂️
  • It worked, kinda

    By Dancer Nicole
it woke me up perfectly! i felt rested, and i was happy to be awake. the problem was, i rested my eyes, and fell back asleep for four hours. literally, four hours. it turned off all my other alarms, so it could be my primary source. it also turned off my alarm to leave for school, which would have been a disaster had i been AWAKE IN THOSE FOUR HOURS I MISSED.
