  • Does Not Work

    By Jessifru
I can only print intermittently with the app and it sometime takes up to 5 minutes to start printing with long delays between pages. Won’t allow me to print a document containing letter and legal size documents. I’m sending the printer back because this app makes mobile printing useless.
  • Stopped working

This worked flawlessly at first; then after a few months it stopped picking up the printer from my mobile. Which defeats the purpose of purchasing a bluetooth/WiFi printer.
  • Awful App

    By GatorNeedsHisGat
Print is blurry and ghosted when printing via the “Remote” feature on the app. Comes through clear when printing to the same printer from Google Cloud Print though...
  • Takes forever to send data to printer

    By Ffplayer99
It takes 5-10 minutes to print 1 page from the iPhone app (that’s if it doesn’t completely timeout). It’s not a WLAN issue as I can print from PCs to this printer in a few seconds. Appears to be a bug in the data transmission from app to printer that’s never been fixed.
  • No longer works with MFC-9325

Used to work with this model, but no longer.
  • So basic, no duplex default, can't duplex Cloudprint

    By Woods4000
I have two Brother printers, the MFC-9970CDW and the HL-L6200DW. I needed this app because the 9970 doesn't have AirPrint and then I like that I can print remotely using Google Cloud Print. However even though you can duplex a print job using Google Drive and you can duplex using the app locally, YOU CANNOT DUPLEX REMOTELY. I'm pretty sure this is a Brother problem and not a Google problem. You also cannot set duplex as the default. It isn't truly terrible, but since you don't need it with the 6200 locally since it has AirPrint and you can't use it remotely because I don't print hundred page document is one sided, it basically represents a total failure on their part to do the simplest upkeep on their app and that earns one star.
  • Useless

Omg this doesn’t work at all on my phone or my wife’s iPad. Going out to buy a new printer.
  • Functional companion to my new printer

    By Garrett H.
Just picked up my first Brother printer off Amazon after many lackluster years as an HP customer. I’m pleasantly surprised with it so far. The app (which you really only need for advanced stuff like scanning since my model also uses Apple AirPrint, which doesn’t require this app at all) seems easy to use and intuitive. It integrates with the Mail and Outlook apps seamlessly (only complaint is that it’d be nice to send the scanned attachments as one multi-page PDF rather than multiple JPEGs). And it suggested a firmware update immediately upon install, connecting me to the printer’s online setting page without issue. All of this is way more than HP’s app(s) could muster. And I do mean multiple apps - for some reason, one version got so screwed up they took it off the App Store and created an entirely new one (which didn’t even support my printer, hence this new Brother). Definitely happy with my decision to switch so far.

Does not work very well. Printer does not stay connected to the Network. The APP requires you to go thru Google to access application and sites to print content. You should be able to print from the content or site your in. Not sure if going thru the Brother APP is secure.
  • Missing options

    By Jklop43285
Easy to use! But missing options of double sided print and multiple pages per sheet. Close to being a great app for convenience
