    This is digital age. I can take the periodic freezes and crashes, but PLEASE fix this app so at least I don't have to log in daily. And when you tell me you're going to email the paper daily, do it.
  • Keeps on crashing

    After multiple updates, through who knows how many iOS versions, articles randomly refuse to load, and the app freezes. When you close the app, you can reopen it, but after reading a few articles, the problem recurs. It makes me reluctant to bother using the app.
  • Worst App Ever

    I have battled with the Tribune technical staff for the last three months over access to the digital paper with NO HELP. I was a subscriber for over a year with no problems until June of 2018. I've been locked out of the app essentially since June of 2018 even though my subscription through iTunes says I have unlimited access. I have deleted the app, reinstalled the app, restored purchases and followed everything the Tribune staff has recommended without any resolve. The technical staff follows a script and doesn't deviate. I've been told the problems are with iTunes because they are third party vendor and the Tribune doesn't get their money. They've also told me I should pay $24.32 for the paper but I don't get the paper. I've never been so frustrated over an app. Essentially the last three months I've paid for digital access and only been able to get access for a couple of weeks. Do not waste your money on this app.

    When I click on stories to read then, I get stuck on a loading animation and have to forcibly close the app.
  • Dysfunctional app

    During the first few months of subscription had to log in again after first 30 pages read. Frustrating, especially with the Sunday edition. Now, it tells me to log in again after reading the front page. However, it freezes up and I can’t read the rest of the paper. Disappointed that the Tribune can not provide a functioning app. Print has gotten too expensive and app doesn’t work-no wonder readership is down.
  • Bad app

    I canceled it. The app kept asking to sign in after i signed in. Three weeks After paying for the second month it did not take my sign in any more. I called support and they said they could e Mail the paper to me. No I want the app to work. Good thing I saved my e mail confirmation so I could use the link to stop the i tunes card payments. They still Owe me fora week of papers. I had to figure out on my own how to make it work on my mac by creating a password within the app. Support could not help me with that or fix the problem. I like content of the Tribune. However, I am moving on. NO more newspapers for me. I miss the comics. We were paying 400 dollars per year for the Rockford IL newspaper. A friendof mine got a deal for 70 per year. Hence,I thought I would try Tribune digital. I think the newspaper business is goingthe way of the shopping mall. It is like living inDetroit. Time to move on.

    Why doesn’t the zoom in feature work any longer? Especially on the comics, you can’t even read them if you zoom. I used to prefer the app over the paper as I could read without glasses! How can a newspaper app get worse with updates?!

    Photo that goes with the article doesn’t appear when I open it. It’s just a black and gray pattern. Also, would like to see fresher content. Same articles appear for days.
  • App is terrible and customer service worse

    The digital edition keeps loading as a trial edition after a few pages asks for you to sign in although you are already signed in, Some pages when they load are not clear when you zoom in, when you call customer service it is a joke trying to explain the problem and their solution which does not work. They need to fix the app and customer service

    App constantly crashes. Click an article to read and 5 seconds later app completely crashes and closed out.
