This is a life saver. Thank you
  • Really an excellent service

    By Theocritus125
Today I became a convert to Bookbuddy after holding out. For updates from a rival book manager. This app has all I need, the ability to sync between devices, easily use multiple tags and formats (I have many ebooks as well as traditional print books). *the only thing lacking is a desktop version. Would really like to see this.
  • I love this app

    By elh739
I love this app so much! Goodreads has nice features such as barcode scanning, reviews, and recommendations, but I got tired of all the notifications. Now I can simply scan my books and keep track of how many books I’ve read throughout the year without strangers bothering me lol. You can find reviews and loan out books too. I think this app is great for people who aren’t necessarily social when it comes to books.
  • Terrific

What a great app. Everything that I need and nothing I don’t need. Easy to record past and future reads.
  • Not a free app

    By not.impressed..
If you’re looking for a free app to catalogue your home library, this app is a complete waste of time. The limit for the free app is like, 50 books. If you only have 50 books, you don’t need an app. You can easily keep 50 book titles in your head. That being said, if I was willing to pay for the “pro” app, I would probably be writing a very positive review. They have a nice setup and it’s easy to use. But I don’t like being suckered in and then finding out that the word “free” was a gimmick.
  • Excellent Addition to My Library

    By Yoo54
I have more than 300 books in my Library. Now I am able to keep track of them very easily. While I can find books by looking up first name of author, I Hope in the next update they will give option of listing authors by last name.
  • Would like to bulk edit

    By farmerdwight
I like this app. One, I don’t need to register and give my email, etc. up for future spamming. Two, I can filter and sort in countless ways. My one nit to pick is that I can’t bulk edit a number of books at one time, e. g., when acquired, tags, etc.
  • The Best library book manager

    By RenaultE
I have tried a lot of them, and this is the absolute best. I tried the free version and tested it out first. I was amazed at how easy and well it works. I am going to order the Pro version to help support the app. It is awesome and syncs perfectly with iCloud or Dropbox.
  • Ok but not great

The concept is good but there are several major flaws that make this app hard to use Most importantly: the bar code scanner fails 100% of the time on paperback novels. Works pretty well on hardbacks but ALWYS fails on paperbacks There’s no easy way to batch input ISBN numbers. I have a number of older books without bar codes. I have to select “scan multiple barcodes” then click an (obscure) button that brings up an ISBN entry form for just *one* book. ISBN entry (including batches) should be on the top level menu Finally, you can’t delete books from the search results. When purging books you have to either scroll to each one in the library listing or search, edit, scroll to the very bottom, click delete. Needs to add swipe-to-delete right from the search results. Camera keeps resetting to auto flash no matter how many times I disable it The app does a lot of things well, but the aforementioned items interfere with the most common tasks I perform.
  • Enjoying the app

I am enjoying the app very much. We are a home school family and have many books coming and going from multiple libraries. Keeping track of them all can be a crazy task. With this app I can enter in all of the books as I check them out and know quickly what books we have. I really like the feature of returning the books. Sometimes our libraries may not get a returned book scanned in and I comes up over due. But I have no way to prove I have returned it. With this app I can have a record I have returned it. One change I would make to this app would to allow scanning in movies, cds, magazines, anything that could be checked out in a library. This way app users could keep track of these loaned items also. Thank you for a sanity saver!
