  • No swim support with Apple Watch

Been see users requesting support for two years. Not a single response from Strava. There doesn’t seem to be genuine interest is doing the simplest coding to support its premium user’s request.
  • Missing Feature

I've used Strava for about 6 months now and I have noticed a problem: Occasionally, I finish a ride and forget to turn off Strava. It then records all the walking I do until I take out my phone and realize it's still recording. If it is possible to crop activities already, where can I do that? If not, please add this feature!
  • No gps tracking.

Recent update removed ability to track using GPS alone on iPhone (I.e., no internet during). This was really the only way to use the app for long rides; otherwise it drains the battery in 2 hrs. Please restore this!

This use to be a good app but it’s trying to become like Facebook rather than an athletic one app. The “suggested follow” is annoying as hell. The inability of the app to go beyond 1 decimal point is annoying. Strava will also scrub mileage and speed off may activities. The app forces you to go online to add things like Shoes etc. this is something that you can do on Garmin. The 3 premium subscription is set up to charge you more in the near future. While this was the best app years ago it has not made any real improvement in years while others have. Garmin will give you all the Premium data like “safety” for free. Strava charges $2/month.
  • I do not understand the love for this

As the title says I do not understand the love for this crap, sorry “app”. Over the years I have used MapMyFitness and Wahoo Fitness and they both blow this out of the water. That said they both have their issues, specifically Wahoo won’t let me use an Apple Watch has a heart rate monitor. This is a real shame because Wahoo is the only app I have used that calculates calories by factoring your heart rate. Speaking of calories Strava doesn’t even display calorie burn! I can only assume that the people who truly loves Strava are people who haven’t used anything else, or are merely in it for the social aspect.
  • Lacks landscape

Not having a landscape mode makes this a fail for me.
  • Good for social fitness

It appears to sync with Apple health now. They also use meters and yards in swimming finally, which is great! Miles and kilometers for lap swimming was a joke. Still no swimming with the Apple Watch, unfortunate as I’m a swimmer/cyclist but not a runner. I would love to see them give that green through red graph for your speed on the map the way Nike and Apple do in their apps.
  • Just started messing up

Worked well for years but now it doesn’t get any ride or run correct. Forgets gps position and just locks up in the middle of activity. Useless the way it is.
  • Love it

  • Overcharged me

I downloaded the standard version for a 30 day trial about a month ago, I decided the app itself was accurate and did what I wanted it to do so I decided to keep it on a monthly basis ($7.99 per month). They’ve since charged me $60 for an entire year and have not returned any emails about bringing my subscription back to the correct term. This is shady practice and shows they are clearly taking advantage of mistake with their users. DONT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. Use Nike Run Club or Underarmour free apps for tracking.
