Used to be my #1 go to photo editing app. Now it takes way too long to open a photo when you start. Not sure what happened with iPhone & Google not wanting to play nice but they need to go to time out and work it out ASAP. I love the Structure feature in Snapseed but don’t want to wait 5 minutes just to load a photo to use it.

Post production photo editing app. The features are superb. I haven’t even begun to experiment with all the possible edits Literally every photo I take goes through Snapseed. It just my imagination though that my iPhone 8 app doesn’t have the option of posting to Facebook. It used to! What happened? There hasn’t been an update done in 8 months.

I have used Snapseed for a long time to edit all my iPhone photos and have always loved it. But for the past several months, all of my saved edits (select Save & permanently modify an image) revert back to the original image. The edits are basically erased and it happens every time. I have to instead export a new file and then delete the original when I edit my photos now, which is annoying. I sure wish the developer would do an update to fix this.

A nice app overall for editing but 50/50 if my charges will actually save. It’s very disappointing that the time I spent editing a photo is wasted.

I’ve decided to quit using it unless they fix this issue.
  • Very Great Editing app But Crashes too much

The app is one of the best apps I’ve ever used but it crashes and deletes the edit you were just working on. Has to stop. *edit* It only crashes when you zoom in all the way and use the “Brush” editing

It says it couldn’t save the image and I have to uninstall and install again
  • It fills in the edges like photoshop!

This app is really advanced for being free. It will fill in the background for you if you have to tweak the image and it no longer fits in the frame (when using something like perspective). Also the selective tool is awesome.

For overall light & shadow, white balance correction, and sharpening, it’s fantastic and my go-to mobile editor! I have two requests: 1: To be able to save presets to your “Looks”, much like an Action. 2. Better masking. “Selective” editing works great in some cases, but not all.
  • Edits don’t save with “save a copy” feature

I thought the “save a copy” feature was nice because sometimes different lighting shows you that you edited too much/too little. So I edited a bunch of photos with friends/fam for a birthday album. “Saved a copy” for each of them. After 24 hours the pictures reverted back to original in my Photos gallery (iPhone 7s). Tried to open them in Snapseed again to see what happened and they don’t show up in the app, period. I scroll through my gallery within the app to choose a photo and they aren’t even there. Waste of time!!
