  • Will not open a document from a website

I just got a new iPad and downloaded the adobe acrobat reader. It will not open a file from a website. I never had this problem with my old iPad. I am so irritated. I just bought 2 iPads to access our work website and nether one will work. The website works so I can only assume that it is the adobe app that won’t work.

The major issues that I had with the recent update have thankfully been resolved. I haven’t had an opportunity or necessity to peruse through all the updated features, but I am no longer angered by using this app. I can freely scroll my music PDFs freely up and down without having hindering features popping up in my way.

The stupid account thing doesn’t work. I got a new device, signed on to the the same iCloud, used the same adobe id, and it didn’t friggin save! Now I have to stay up till 11 redoing all my notes. BTW I’m not doing it on this stupid app!
  • Tiny font size of application’s file lists and folders!

Way too small font size of this all application’s menus, your file names and folders—with no settings option to increase it!

I like the old interface which you can chose BOOKMARK by taking it. I don’t need page mode, search, scan, and share to be there. Bookmark is what most people used.
  • New update is horrible

I don’t like the new functionality feature. I really enjoyed my notation visibility, now I have to search for them. On top of that it’s not really user friendly. I love what I could do with the old version. How can I go back to the old version or at least the ability to write within the app. Sandy

11/13/18 Three points: 1. Adobe Acrobat Reader has always been a great product. Thanks! 2. Having read many reviews, one has to ask what a Product Manager or Development Manager is thinking when the approve wholesale user interface changes which do notation enhance the functionality of the product, yet manage to destroy the usability from the users perspective. It makes one wonder if design user acceptance testing is done. This is why I give you only 3 stars. 3. Thank you for real release notes! There is nothing more annoying and useless than release notes that merely say “every release includes bug fixes and performance improvements”. Thanks for doing that right.
