    This app allows you to set goals, track your food, calories ,exercise ,water intake, follow your fat intake sodium intake,etc and it links to your health app on your Apple iPhone . it’s truly amazing and carefree. If there is one app that will help you to lose weight and live a healthier life it’s my plate. I love this app!!!!!!!!! May God bless the creators of this app because they’ve helped change my life so much. I know we don’t think about those people who create these apps because they do it for profit, but this app is different and the people who created it are geniuses in that it’s so user-friendly and so intuitive.

    I would love to see more accurate proteins and fresh veggies listed. I wanted to put in grilled organic chicken tenders without breading and it doesn’t exist. I also find that you don’t have a saved section for meals. Only repeat meals on certain days. I don’t know which day I’m eating the same thing again.

    So far so good, I downloaded 3 different apps to see which one would be the best for me. This one was the easiest an best to understand for me. Thank you I’m gonna do my best at getting my weight off. Wish me luck... my short term goal is to lose 25 pounds by June! 😉 04/15/2019 I just wanted to add that the more I use this the more I love it. It keeps me on track and I don’t mind watching my calories. I will eventually get the Gold

    I’m only using the free version but I like it. It’s very easy to learn and lets you set your own goals or simply enter your weight loss desires and it will set goals for you. I did find that the scanner cannot find many products, but to be fair I live in Central Europe so perhaps it does better with American packages. But to be completely upfront, I do have a different app that can scan many of the packages here so it is a downfall with this app. Another downfall is the “my recipes” portion of the app. Most people cook for families so I entered the entire recipe as I cooked it but then I wasn’t able to split that into servings. I couldn’t even say that I ate a quarter of the recipe, it was either the entire recipe or nothing. I wish that feature were added. But overall, great app, I will continue to use it.
  • Doesn’t Accurately Track Data

    I scan the labels, put in my serving size and it doesn’t accurately track my sodium intake at all. I am so frustrated and disappointed by this. No matter what I put in, the app tells me I’ve only had 1.3mg of sodium, which is completely inaccurate. If the app is going to say that it is tracking it, then it needs to track it and not mislead me. The only thing is seems to actually track is calorie intake. However, at this stage I’m not convinced that the calories are accurate either. If it isn’t able to calculate the sodium correctly how do I know it’s tracking the calories correctly. Or anything else. I am just super frustrated by this. Please fix this!

    The user interface is so much better than my fitness pal, but my fitness pal has a much more extensive food internal database. I find myself going to my fitness pal just to see how many calories are in an item and then coming back to MyPlate to enter it. Restaurant foods especially are needed.

    So far I am definitely loving this app. I haven’t been using it very long. I love the fact that it’s easier to use than other ones I have used. Enjoy that there are recipes for you to make. I also love that you don’t have to focus on everything such as sodium, sugar and carbohydrates. You can just focus on calories if that’s what you are tracking.
