  • Used to be a great app; not anymore.

Was a great, pure and interesting platform. Since Vinous bought and monetized the app, it’s become less user-friendly and more laden with glitches.
  • 👍

Love this app! The only drawback is that if the app doesn't have the wine I'm submitting, I can't submit a rating or review. By the time they approve it (sometimes weeks after I've submitted it) I honestly have no recollection of whether or not I liked it, never mind details about it!
  • Highly recommended

I'm using this app to connect with my friends in and out of the wine business. A real conversation between drinkers and the industry. Smart drinkers will use this in tandem with Banquet to see who's retailing the delicious wines I distribute, including thousands of others wines being enjoyed by the world's most discerning palates. Backed up by the unparalleled wine journalism of VINOUS, it's hard to imagine a better venue for quick and rich wine information. Highly recommended.
  • Great Wine Review Tool

Great expert community to follow. Fun to connect with friends and see their reviews. Appreciate the wine insights and fun to track what I tend to like.
  • Could be better

It's amazing how few wines have any pricing info. You'd think this would be pretty easy to gather and make the app more useful. Really just use this app as a personal notebook.
  • Much Improved

It’s much improved and I can again strongly recommend it!
  • Best wine app!

    By @ryanreacher
This is the best wine app! I have been using it for about 5 years I think. It recognizes a wine by taking a photo of the label and let’s you share with other wine lovers. Great for experimenting with new wines and seeing other’s reviews.
  • Super handy!

Great place to keep track of the wines we've had. I like being able to make notes. I like the wishlist option but would like to make notes as to why I've added a particular wine to my wishlist (such as recommended by a friend, etc). Add that feature and you'd get 5 stars from me!
  • A great community..

    By .MaJ.
Old review: This used to be a great community based app for rating and sharing wines. Now, its ads, ads, and more ads that have nothing to even do with wine. Classic reason why we can't have nice thighs. ****Updated version 11-15-17 **** The developers have listened, and even responded with action in a positive manner. Rating going from 2 to 5 stars because of this. Thanks delectable For listening to your fan base.
  • Pay to play

As of today Delectable now sports ads between user submissions and also pop ups when you attempt to add a wine. Next they will say, "Want to lose the ads, spend $x/mo." Antonio didn't mention that in his interview, only that for $5.99/mo you can get Vinous scores on Delectable wines as well. So now even if you didn't want them you will need to pay for them in order to keep the user interface ad free and enjoyable? Users built that app and made it what it is. Congratulations. Edit 11-15-17: Thanks for the reply, it’s a step in the right direction. The wine identification portion of the app deteriorated after the paywall rollout and I had to manually enter wine nearly 90% of the time. Last few have worked so hoping that was addressed as well. The timeline jumps to the next wine after I look at a wine within it and then close that individual wines window. Extremely annoying. Let me go back to where I was so I know I have not skipped by anything.
