It’s a great way to read all your fav magazines in one fell swoop
  • Not working correctly

    By Pcflorida
Not sure if it’s a new update as my iPad auto updates, but I haven’t been able to properly read a magazine on my iPad in months. Turning the pages freezes after each swipe, or it stops in in between pages , freezes constantly. Frustrated and I usually give up reading my magazines. The app wasn’t like this when it first came out. What is going on ? I have months worth of magazines I’d like to go through, but can’t

I’m getting the magazines I always subscribed to for a better price plus I can keep up to date on other magazine articles. It is a win win deal.
  • Excellent app

My daughter got this for my birthday coming up and I'm enjoying reading all my magazine in one place. I'm very happy with my gift. Thanks to my daughter I'm loving it.

I have had texture for several years now and I love it. I have access to so many magazines. Just having the weekly magazines alone is worth the cost. I like that I don’t have back issues of magazines to recycle and I can go back to older issues if I want or need to.
  • Almost excellent

Without a doubt it's neat to have access to material you normally read on paper and stuff you typically don't read except while waiting on line at the market. The actual viewing method of the app needs some rethinking as most times the default size can't be easily read without zooming. I don't mind the zooming and moving around to see the page contents but being forced to unzoom before going to the next page is inefficient and seems to be a product feature of someone who doesn't read this stuff. If I pull to expose the next or previous page and then keep pulling, do I have to connect all the dots for you. This is just like car apps designed with assumption of being stopped while using. DUMB
  • Love it!!

I have a magazine addiction and Texture solves the problem of not being able to afford all that I want to read! My only problem is on some magazines I can't finish an article because the page will scroll back up to the top before I am thru reading it. I read in other comments that I am not alone with this issue. The 4 star rating is because of that glitch that I hope can be resolved ... Other than that I love this app and would give it a 5 star rating!
  • Amazing

Could break habit of buying any magazines with Texture, just not quite there yet!
  • Old review not applicable now...

    By WickedGirl33
My old review below, which I have left up deliberately, still applies in many ways. However, as of today, 11/17/17, things have occurred with this app that make me deeply unhappy at the moment. I downloaded the latest issue of People today, only to have it arrive on my iPad 4 looking blurry and grainy. I will delete it and download it again. My problem is that when trying to locate a way to report this in the app, there is none. When I went to the Texture website and took the time to fill out their "contact us" form and clicked send, it failed with a garbled error message and a total loss of what I had typed to them. This is totally unacceptable for a service that I pay for. There should always be a way to contact an app developer and either ask for help or report a problem. Until this lack of communication issue is resolved, I have to lower my rating to 2 stars, which stands for "below average" to me. If nothing is done about the problem, I will need to lower my rating permanently to 1 star. If this issue is addressed promptly, showing excellent customer service and response, I will be happy to raise this rating back up. From 2012: This app is amazing! I love magazines, but I can never afford them, and I don't want the hard copies around cluttering up my house either. With Next Issue, I get to have my cake and eat it too. The fee is affordable, and everything is digital. Woohoo! Can't wait for more magazines!
