  • WWII June 1940, German - French Armistice Meeting

    By The bat whisperer
This is a brief joint broadcast of CBS and NBC covering the Armistice in June of 1940 between Germany and France. In essence, it was a French surrender to Nazi Germany. Not a lot of the details were known until later, but this report gives one a sense of being there. I do hope that these contemporary reports of the war are being preserved, as they are a first draft of the history of humanity’s worse conflict.

I've been using Audiobooks for years now. I been through all the classics, and it's for free too. After some time with the app I learned how to navigate the readers and which readers I prefer.
