May have given a 4 star review if maps didn’t keep nagging me to review
  • Professional driver request

    By J Flow Consulting
Google has always created incredible products and apps to make life easier. However, Google maps has had some issues that can create real-time frustrations and distractions while operating a vehicle - commercial or personal. Under the hood the routing is realiable. One can chose sometimes various different routes that is ideal. Using the product though has been a slight nightmare. For example: I select a route based on what is best for a commercial vehicle before starting a route. As a professional driver with over a million miles driven Google maps feel that it would wise to automatically change my designated route by requesting the user to select a route based on Googles’ algorithm, traffic reports, and construction enroute. The user should have final say on route and routes should not be re-designated based on Google routing after a driver has selected a particular route. It is important to create additional option but the option SHOULD NOT be automatically authorized by Googles’ routing data. The DRIVER SHOULD HAVE FINAL SAY, NOT GOOGLE or it’s app. It is too distracting, frustrating and dangerous for any driver to get their eyes off the road just to fight with Google map on “decline requests” and when missed it re-routes. Fix this Google, not only to improve the safety of your users but the safety of the driving public.

  • It has no idea where it is

    By Deeeeeeebs
It’s constantly telling me I’m on a street next to the street or highway I’m actually on and it just says “go to ... street- which I am already on, and is tying to give me (incorrect) directions to get onto the road I’m currently on. It freezes in place like I’m not moving. It’s totally useless.

  • It’s the only mapping software I use except when I’m in China

    By Howard Pan
Google has the best mapping software around except in China. Google needs to find a way to get back into that market so that it’s data is up-to-date and pertinent. Please stay relevant.
