  • This app requires Facebook

    By A-Wyse
You can’t run this app without logging into a Facebook account. Runtastic does not mention this prior to purchase. I don’t have a Facebook membership and this app will not function. This is a serious omission since you pay for this app. ZERO STARS (1 star is required to make a review input).
  • Fails to get reading

    By RedDust60
App rarely gets a reading, and shows ads even on the paid ‘pro’ version. Also, just after I registered (why do they need my personal info?!) I got hit with alerts from Apple that someone in China was trying to access my account. iPhone 7. iOS 11.2.
  • ads

    By Zp15a
I keep getting ads and it’s somewhat hard to use with the 8+ dual camera
  • Great for free

    By nstar728
Got it free when I searched through the App Store. I compared it against manually checking my pulse by hand and it works pretty well if you average out the results. Individual measurements weren't so great all the time, but it's cool to be able to use the my iPhone to measure my pulse.
  • Paying for Ads on a Glitchy App

By & God is Watching 2
The monitor is often faulty and requires multiple do-overs to get passable readings. Even after rendering payment we are rewarded with nag screen after nag screen. 'No thanks, not interested in signing up so that my health data is surrendered and could be sold to third parties. No, really, I am not interested in signing up. No means no.' 'No thanks, I am aware you make other apps but this is the only one of interest... or is it?' FYI, most people haven't the time for this nonsense. Apparently, the payments from a collective ocean of customers is yet insufficient to fund respectable performance from this dev team. Thumbs down.
  • Mandatory Creating Account?!!!

    By Bardiam
I love this app but with your New Policy i won't update it !!! I Fear to face mandatory "create account" with your last updates ! Please clear why you need our information ?!! It's a Pro version of your product and as a consumer i don't feel safe to share these kind of information with your company ! Last Edit : No reply from dev ?! I'll switch to "Cardiograph" then, it's free and doesn't require any mandatory registration !!!
  • Great App

    By OutPostDC
Very pleased with this. Simple interface. Simple results. One update I would appreciate is the ability to edit (change) activity setting on saved results. If I save results against default "General" I may want to modify this after the fact. Would give it 5 stars if this update was added.
  • Now you have to register? Not happening!

By I Don't Want To Have A Nickname
Used to like the app a lot. It does work. But now it requires registration and I'm just not going to do that. And why would I want to share my heart rate on any social network? Some things are not meant to be shared and this is definitely one of them. Hey dev, where are your comments? Since I don't see any I'm guessing you want great reviews but never read or respond to then. Looking elsewhere for a heart rate monitor app.
  • Must have account

    By Misslou_78
App used to work perfectly well but wouldn’t know if it still does since you now cannot proceed without signing in. I don’t have an account and don’t want an account. The sync straight to Apple Health app was fine for recording history. Deleting.
  • Must register after latest update.

Previous versions of the app allowed you to use it without creating an account. Now you must have an account to use it. I’ll be looking for a new heart rate app.
