This app shouldn’t be in the App Store for an iPhone,I got the free EQ and I wasted 9.99 on the other EQ tried to transfer my music and followed all the instructions, your lucky I have to give 1 Star it’s not even worth that, have a great day.
  • So a Flac Player that don't do AAC

Paid $9.99 in a desperate search of a decent EQ player for iTunes. Why the hell would a FLAC player not include AAC (iTunes format) on an iOS device. Shame on me for spend a f**king $9.99 with high hopes. So for all you who have an exclusively FLAC library of songs, God bless you and the$9.99 you spend to find out if this app works for you

Fantastic app. excellent sound quality and interface,. Provides a much better listening experience, for two main reasons: 1) The FLAC format is superior to mp3 or mp4/m4a if you have a FLAC file that was converted from a full resolution wav file or similar. 2) Ampliflac also includes a nice equalizer section that can be customized with presets, way smoother sounding than Apple Music's genre-based general presets. On my ancient 5c, I have never had the app crash or give me any problems. The import process is a bit obscure, to be fair, but easy to manage. If you love classical and jazz where sound quality really matters, get this. You can convert from your CD or wav files to make your own FLAC files. Maybe you have to work a bit harder than accepting cheapo-sounding mp3 files, but such is the price of higher quality, so let your ears be the judge.

  • Horrible app

Purchased from App Store on 7/21/14. Attempted to import songs from iTunes to Ampliflac numerous times without success. Sent an email inquiry regarding difficulty on 7/22/14 and again on 7/24/14. To date, no replies to inquiry, issue not resolved, and wishing I found something else to waste $10 on. To send a review, a star rating was required and since a zero star rating was not possible, a one star unwarranted rating was given.

  • So-so.

This isn't the worst program for playing FLAC, but it could be a lot better. Moving files to an inbox and then to an album collection is cumbersome and often crashes during the process. It also doesn't save your place for long before refreshing. I recommend trying FLAC Player first; despite a few flaws, it's a better program.
  • Amazing Find

When I switched to iOS I thought I was out of luck as far as my FLACs were concerned. I'm very happy to have found this app. I have a 4s and have had no problems with the app, even with all the power settings running on full bore! This is an exciting app that works great.
