  • Needs work

I’m a huge fan of Google Docs in its desktop web app state, but the iOS app is frustrating. There is no tab key or ruler, so making paragraphs with indented first lines is a real pain. The UI layout is odd, with a lot of blank empty space that then makes the text space smaller than it has to be. Images can be inserted only from the photo library or camera, and not Google Drive. What’s up with that? Worst is that the app is so dreadfully slow to type. I’m not that good a typist, but I have to stop and watch while it catches up, trailing an entire sentence or more behind me, even in short documents with no special formatting. Ugh! I want to use Google Docs, but the terrible typing lag has made it unusable.

  • Just needs to add Grammarly as an extension

    By Kingsley.O.
I need grammarly as an extension to help correct mistakes for my papers. If google docs has grammarly or a better then I’ll give it a 5/5 but so far it’s very fantastic and simple. I ❤️ it.
