  • Couple Minor issues:

    By texjer
    Mark flair?
  • Used to love it; just deleted due to intrusive ads

    By Nickfolian Bonerparte
The video player: if you have it vertically and turn sideways before pressing play, it covers the play button with a small ad. Any time randomly: they’ve started popping up with video ads. So long, fare well, goodbye.
  • It Was Good

The app no longer plays gifs from imgur. Only gives a black screen and the loading bar shows that it’s getting hung up on something. Fix the app and I’ll give a better review.
  • Not loading gifs

I have used Narwhal for a couple years. Recently it does not load gifs
  • Doesn’t load gifs anymore

Will change if or when it’s fixed
  • Great layout but media viewer needs work

By Waste, not the latest deals
Love the UI and layout on the iPad nut the built in media viewer has issues with Imgur. Stalls every time, but the other embedded links work great. Great reader just needs to update the compatibility with Imgur.
  • Rate limiting

    By Noooey
Why don’t you take all of my comments that are “rate-limited”, and put them in a list, where a little timer will try and fire them off? You’d improve my experience drastically. Keep a queue of all the messages I couldn’t send, and let me send them later — or try it yourself. Every time I type up a message, only to be told to “go away” by your Reddit’s limit message makes me want to uninstall the app. Build a solution.
  • I’ve stopped using it

    By XenoSmiley
For such a long time I’ve loved using this app, but it seems lately the app sometimes has trouble loading some gifs. There is a loading bar that never reaches 100% and the screen remains blank. The same images have no trouble loading in other apps.
  • My favourite Reddit client.

    By Chandler Frantz
So let me start by saying I recommend this app, and as already established, it’s my favourite Reddit client. So why only three stars? Crashing. This app crashes and freezes every five minutes for what seem to be completely arbitrary reasons, on both my iPad and iPhone. Fix those, you’ve got a six-star app, but as it stands, I can’t reasonably give more than a reluctant three.
  • Tons of customization & receptive devs!

I use Relay for Reddit on Android (and have since it was Reddit News), but when I got my iPad I was bummed to realize that Relay was Android exclusive. I saw a recommendation for narwhal and I’m really glad I did. While this app doesn’t always have everything that I want, or I have trouble finding a feature that it does, the developers have always seemed to be responsive to the comments that users are making. Narwhal gives me an easy and clutter-free way to browse my subreddits and I love it. I’d rate it a perfect 5/7! Thanks devs!
