  • EA Ruins Games

Looked for something similar to peggle classic, which I had on my original iPod touch. Great game done by Popcap Games (RIP). EA turned this game into an over-wrought time waster whose flashiness only just masks the emptiness of the gameplay. After about an hour of normal play you will get "stuck" so you have to wait for lives to refill, or conveniently buy new lives which conveniently cost gems which are just one convenient button away from daddy's credit card. I imagine EA has made fortunes from children who mash on the "accept" button just to get that sweet fake reward, because they just don't know any better. The highest cash option for gems is $20. All in all a complete waste of time and totally indicative of the scammy nature that all freemium games like EA's have to offer. I hope these games become illegal in the near future to stop the mass preying on children these scam artists perform.

Made it to level 65. Somehow the game reset itself to level 1. Not worth replaying. Goodbye Peggle Blast.
  • I like the game but I just have one problem

I played this game in an android I had and it deleted all my gameplay so I had to start from the beginning. I later got an Iphone and l played the game there but when I got to level 78 I exited the game and when I went back it deleted all my gameplay. Does this happen to anyone else? I genuinely want to know.
  • All work erased

This is the second time that the app has erased all my playing data and started me at the very first level after getting above 30 levels in. Very frustrating.
  • Restarted

This game is addicting but it restarted all over again while I was on Level 130!!
  • Not as good as the original but fun!

Sad that they got rid of the original Peggle, was hoping to re-download that, but came across this instead. I wish they kept the original characters, but this suffices as a good alternative to all the Candy Crush type games.
  • Not a worthy sequel.

Nope. Turning this awesome game into another micro transaction begging mess. Deleting.
  • Fun, but I want Peggle Classic back

I enjoy Peggle Blast, I really do. It is fun and challenging. But like others, I would prefer a one-time payment for full access to the game, as opposed to buying coins. Next, I want Peggle Classic back. I try to open it, and it says the developer needs to update the app. I wasn’t done with that app yet, and to be quite honest, Peggle Classic is therapeutic for me when I’m anxious. Peggle Blast offers similar relief, but not like Classic. Please update Peggle Classic so I can play both. Thank you.
  • Paying for extra lives

Really EA? I’d spend money up front for the full game with no need to BUY lives to continue playing. I love this game and to see microtransactions implemented is sad.
  • We want the old peggle back!!

The classic peggle game was timeless, worked fine, and had the perfect mix of simplicity and fun. This new version is chaotic and seems to be immature/aimed at really young players instead of the vast majority (anyone could have played the old peggle.) I was so disappointed to see that the old peggle was gone and replaced with this disaster. If you don’t completely remodel this app to look like old one, which is understandable, then at least make the old version available for purchase or download from the AppStore. Like the classic phrase, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
