  • Interior Lake

This is the only low priced navigation app that I have found that is usable for navigating a large interior lake (Lake Murray) in SC. It provides a high resolution view of the shoreline when in the "Street" mode without having a WiFi or cellular Internet connection. It shows your boat's current position and a red line indicating the track ahead of the boat. Waypoints (called Favorites) can be set by touching a point on the map or by entering degrees, minutes, seconds for latitude & longitude. Waypoint names, numbers, and descriptions can be edited. No information related to water depth is available. It lacks a Cancel button when you accidentally create a new waypoint. And the last digit sometimes will not cooperate when specifying a waypoint's Seconds number. Still it is a very good value for the price allowing me to safely find my way home at night or in fog.
