  • Frustrating

I primarily use She Reads Truth for a bible plan—reading through the Bible in a year. Unfortunately, I have found it extremely frustrating as the app has lost my reading history many times. It needs some work to be more reliable.
  • ESSENTIAL!

I cannot say enough POSITIVE things about this app!!! As a Christian millennial young woman, staying in touch with God is a high priority- and this app makes it SO EASY to get a devotional done in the morning with coffee before heading out! Also - I’ve NEVER purchased an app subscription until THIS app! For only $1.99 a month, the blessings are ABUNDANT and it has a built-in Bible feature! That’s only $24 a year, and honestly, with the Bible feature, the community and ALL the Bible studies on the app - I couldn’t think of a better $24 a year!!! <3

I can’t get the app to save my readings and I have submitted feedback three times and written emails, but I never hear back. I was asking if there was something I needed to do differently to keep my readings marked ( so hard to remember where I left off) or if it was just my phone, but never got the courtesy of a response. I’m getting ready to cancel my subscription and look for another app. It’s a shame when trying to read the Bible makes you frustrated and grumpy!!!

Update: why can’t we start notes anymore randomly? I can’t takes notes on here during sermons anymore? Bring back notes!
  • Unable to read without WiFi connect!

This makes the app honestly pointless. I spend the money, purchase the plans yet cannot read off line. I live in the city and my daily commute is the train and that’s my quiet time but ever since this new update I cannot read my plans anymore without WiFi connection, even if I want to use my data the plans will not work without an actual WiFi connection!!! Purchasing these plans should be like E-books and it’s frustrating. I can’t get my daily morning commute read to work or on the go and it makes me so sad. I no longer want to purchase additional plans because I cannot use whenever I want. The odd app allowed all of this, please bring the option back. In all honesty, the old app was much better, simple, to the point and easy to maneuver. There’s just way to much unnecessary steps to get to certain books of the Bible and etc.
  • Sync across all iOS devices

This app should across all iOS devices linked to same Apple ID. It’s annoying to not see progress on my iPad and iPhone. Content is excellent but syncing is must in this time of many owning a couple devices.
  • Great but some bugs

I Use this app daily and thoroughly enjoy and appreciate it. However, the app tends to delete my checked off “Read” days which makes it hard to keep track of which day I’m on. Perhaps this can be fixed.
  • Great app. Awful update.

I’ve always loved the content and aesthetic of SRT. The update is certainly more streamlined and beautiful, but it’s not user friendly like it used to be. My biggest irritation is that you can’t keep track of a reading plan because days marked as ‘read’ don’t stay marked. It’s frustrating and makes me not want to use the app.
  • Beautiful, Broken App

Unlike most religious apps, this app’s presentation is great: very clean and modern. Readings that are “marked read” don’t stay marked read, however, which severely hampers one of its biggest features; it makes following a reading plan thoroughly frustrating. I hope to see it fixed soon.
  • Love the content, app is not so user friendly

Loveee SRT, I introduced my husband to HRT and he loves it as well. However, lately the app has been giving me issues, it does not save the resent reads, so I am always having to go through different days to remember which was the one I read the day before. I have to go into all the reading plans to find the one I am currently reading because it doesn’t appear on the home page. Please fix this if it’s a bug! I really love the content but it’s sad that the app has become so hard to navigate.
