Equalist. Not Elitist. See our mission statement at So you want to date someone that shares your same education level AND ambition/drive? And maybe, just maybe, you'd like them to be in your same neighborhood, attractive enough to at LEAST look good in a black-and-white photo, with a height that meets your way-too-restrictive height preferences. Perhaps you also want them to share your religion as well. While your mother may call you picky, we call you self-aware. It's about to be happy hour, so go get 'em. #singleisin #neversettle League users now have the option of becoming a member by purchasing a yearly subscription for $199/year (equivalent to $15/month). This membership offers extra perks, customization, more prospects, invites to exclusive events, and is auto-renewing until cancelled by user via iTunes (or settings). Users who wish to cancel their subscription must do so at least 24-hours before the end of the current period . See terms and conditions at and our privacy policy

Got an extra $99 a month lying around? Then perfect this app is for you
  • Waste

This app is a waste of money. I never received any of my preference except gender. I have two more weeks on my subscription and I can’t wait for it to expire. I’ve had better luck on other websites. Looks and sounds appealing but doesn’t live up to the hype.
  • Dumb

Seriously. The only way to be accepted into this app is to pay the membership fees. Which are ridiculously expensive. Just a dumb dating app. They “reviewed” my profile multiple times and gave the same reason that I wasn’t accepted. You’d have better luck with LinkedIn getting a date than this app.

I have used all of the tinder and bumble swipes imaginable in the never ending millennial search for a woman who is both intelligent and attractive. The League has taken a lot of the burden of searching off of my shoulders. By giving me the chance to match with quality women who are actually doing things with their lives every day has made my dating decisions less and more complicated all at the same time. No longer am I disengaged with my swipes and playing a numbers game. It’s a refreshing change and I’ve deleted my other apps in lieu of giving this one s real shot.
  • A complete scam

On top of the “membership fee” you pay, you have to buy “tickets” to access more people. Don’t waste your time. This app is a scam. (And before anyone asks: yes, I went to a so-called elite school and have an elite job, by the site and anyone’s standards.) I’m an reporting them to iTunes for false marketing, and so should you.

Not a bad app gets you interested in the city
  • Not worth the wait

The League markets itself as an exclusive dating app that uses an algorithm to make intelligent matches. Truth is, there are too few people using the app for anyone to find a good match and the app creators are working too hard to get people to pay to get off the waiting list to improve the situation. I’ve gotten 1-3 “matches” daily and they don’t meet any of my specs, except gender. They are 10 years below my desired age range and live 8 hours, even whole states away. As to the exclusivity, I’ve seen many of these folks on other free apps. The groups feature is useless. They’re herding folks into groups where people are literally saying “hello?!?” And asking what they’re supposed to be doing there—especially since they want you to pay to contact folks in the group 🙄. And, lastly, the snarky concierge bores me and I can’t figure out how to get rid of him. Not worth the “queuing outside the club so we can look like the hotspot” wait. Bumble, Tinder, OKC, pretty much all better than the League.
  • Horrible

After getting in from being on the waitlist for about 2 years(!!!) I was expecting something different. There’s nothing special about the people on here. The matches are the same weirdos from OKC that you were hoping to avoid! You would think they would at least make people have pictures of themselves—wrong! I got matched up with people you had random pictures of objects to fill the spots for pics. Furthermore, as some reviewers have mentioned, the rate of people reaching out and responding is the same pathetic rate as other apps.
  • Terrible

This app is awful. No one responds. 3 prospects a day, at most. This service is a waste and there is nothing showing me that the $200 upgrade is worth it.
  • Asks too much

A friend endorsed me, so I signed up. I would expect a wait time while they review because they are going for exclusivity and trying to make this a serious dating site, but I applied on 11/24/2017. I keep getting messages Asking me to endorse a friend or to join for a discounted rate and they would review my application sooner. The problem Is no one I know has actually gone on a date from this site. I don’t want to endorse a site until I’ve actually used it and it’s proven to me that it’s worthwhile. Why do they keep asking me to endorse friends when I’m not yet a member? Why do they keep asking me to pay for the site? Give me a month and if it’s great, I’ll pay and recommend it. Currently I’m skeptical, but if my application is approved and I get on and find otherwise, I’d be happy to update my review.
