  • A good start

I use this app frequently and have had a generally good experience with it. It gives me a good combination of flexibility and control. I especially like the shopping list. It’s user friendly and adaptable. My only complaint about the shopping list is how it doesn’t always seem to combine ingredients. For example, it will have separate entries for “parsley, chopped parsley, and fresh parsley”. Consolidating all of those into one item to shop for would be great. Most recipes I’ve tried are pretty good. Some are truly delicious. A little editing would be helpful. On two occasions a recipe called for ingredients that weren’t in the instructions. Since I am not an idiot, I could figure out where to add them, but this seems like a really stupid oversight. Otherwise, not bad. I’d like to see some way to “favorite” recipes. Or include a recipe box or clipboard where we can store recipes we’d like in regular rotation. The randomness of recipe choices is baffling. One week I’ll have seven different dishes all calling for sweet potatoes, but no repetition of proteins, which would make shopping simpler. I do a lot of tweaking of the weekly plans. I’ve never once used a weekly menu as-is, but I don’t really mind that. All in all, it’s a good app that will hopefully keep getting better.
  • Not easy to use

I found this app too challenging to use. Plus, way to many different subscriptions depending on food. Then, when I went to unsubscribe I was given the wrong information and so ended up paying for 2 months I did not use. Because it was such a challenge to work with them, they got my money and I gave up. Hope it is really unsubscribes now.
  • Not a great meal planner

    By KathrynWint
This whole mean planner is not intuitive and takes a lot of adjusting if you are someone who wants to meal prep for the week. It’s even less useful if you’re a single person.
  • What is happening?

I used to love this app. However, for the last couple of weeks my app does not start up. I have to delete the app and then download it daily. I think it’s time to quit it and move on. I cannot be this frustrated with something I enjoyed so much before!

I can’t get past pressing and holding the fun pineapple cake for 1 second. It gets stuck there.
  • Needs iPad Version

    By SillyGem
Says it is compatible with iPad but it doesn’t come up in apps on the iPad.
  • Difficult to use

    By CRKrispie
I tried this app for the Whole Food 30 meal plans; I found it difficult to use; I didn’t see a built in tutorial; I had a couple of chats with the support team and they were helpful. I decided this app wasn’t for me.
  • Limited meal plans/Unrealistic recipes

    By stonewalljax
First, this is an app aimed at capitalizing on fad or highly specialized diets. Looking for a Mediterranean Diet plan? They ain’t got it. Apparently, the diet needs to be vital the past two years to qualify. Second, some of these recipes are not realistic for the average person. The health/fitness nut will do all of them but the average person will not and should not. Their lunch recipes are what most people would describe as a once a month nice dinner. It’s a means to make a buck. They googled a bunch of recipes and just threw them together and focused on the most recent viral fad diets. Don’t waste your time or money. They deserve neither.
  • Great for the shopping list.

But the recipes are just ok. I found better recipes online.
  • Not user friendly

Not very friendly for allergies outside of the preselected groups.
