Love the platform, the Apple TV app works fine. The mobile app works great. But whoever designed the logo for the APP Took a step backwards. I actually hate having it on my home screen
  • Needs technology, true "maker" category. Also very expensive

Programming and technology design is an incredibly creative subject that is entirely ignored by this app. Even the "crafts and maker" category has only crafts, and no actual "maker" things. This app would be awesome if they could include some programming, game level design, 3D design, electronics, and other related categories of creativity.
  • If these are classes, then YouTube is a university.

Got to pick a free class at the beginning, shown by the app as marked down from about $49. It was just a series of low quality videos, and considering it was about sound design, the “instructor” had an abysmal mic setup and you could hear his every gasp for air and every object he scraped over his desk. I did not see a detailed description for the course, so it turns out to be for Ableton when I’m using Logic Pro X instead. There are better “classes” on YouTube for free. This app was a waste of time.

John is a great teacher. And this class is packed with solid information. I highly recommend it for beginner level photographers.

This app is incredibly helpful and informative for anyone in the creative world. The content they release is some of the best I’ve seen, I couldn’t be more pleased.
  • Great, but that Apple TV app is 💩💩💩💩💩

Creative Live is phenomenal. So many courses, so many topics, and then they went and added yoga! Happy camper here, with only one exception, and that’s a big one. Why only 3 stars, when I’m so incredible happy with the quality and breadth of the content offered? Well, the Apple TV app is phenomenally bad. You can’t access your favorites (I have the All Access pass), you can’t search for classes, and there are only a fraction of available classes displayed in each category, without fail the one class you want to watch is not pictured. Sure, I can AirPlay, but the purpose of having an Apple TV app is not having to do that. It’s kinda stupid, well, incredibly stupid, to have to tie up two devices to watch a video.
  • Too many “uh’s”
