  • Great app, would love a few minor tweaks

    By KenInPa
I really love the app and it is a great companion to my Apple TV Zwift app. It’s like having a hi tech remote. I especially like the new workout screen but have a couple of nit picks with it. I have a controllable trainer so I am concentrating more on cadence than power during the workouts. The cadence font is so small and nested right under the power reading that it is hard to read, especially when really working hard. Perhaps moving it to the top left of the power arc and heart rate to the top right would make it all easier to read. There is some open screen real estate In those places, especially if the power arc is just a tad smaller. Additionally, the app is super power hungry. I went from 85% to 20% in 40 minutes. Not sure how to fix this considering everything it is doing, so I now plug my phone in (which requires a wire that I don’t want around my bike!) Lastly, it loses sync about once per workout and I have to close and reopen the app. Again, I consider these minor but if they can be fixed, I would have no problem upping my rating to 5 stars.
  • Really useful app but some glitches.

    By ukatsone
I have used the app for a week now and I really like it. A lot of times I will use this app to run in place using my Apple Watch. The only problem I have seen is that occasionally the heart rate will not be accurate. I will stop and check my pulse it is fine. Basically what happens is that my heart rate will spike up to twice the actual heart beats. I have tried placing the watch up a little more on my arm when I run and I have also tightened it as much as I can stand and still has the same issue. I’ve heard that sometimes people have issues with the monitor working correctly but I find that the Apple software works better and doesn’t have as many glitches. I really like your app and I use it primarily when the weather is bad outside so it has been very motivational. Thanks!
  • A lot of Bugs

    By GlobalSvcs
If you are using Apple TV and the Mobile Link, just recognize that there are a lot of bugs. Zwift is a great concept, but they seem to rush enhancements to the detriment of the riders. Documentation isn’t that good, and support acts like every bug reported is news to them, while there are a lot of comments about those issues and bugs on their website from users. If you can deal with all that, go for it. If you don’t want to spend most of your ride troubleshooting connections, connect via a computer instead of the sloppy TV OS and iOS apps.
  • Latest version crashes constantly

    By plaiteddate
Crashes continuously on iPhone X when in “mobile link” mode to add Bluetooth device to Apple TV. Please fix!
  • Very useful especially when in conjunction with Apple TV 4K app

    By Mflanagan81
This app is very helpful for controlling the in-game/ride actions, especially when the controlling device for the game is remote (ie Apple TV or laptop). Comment to dev: recently I had an issue where mobile link thought I was riding in London but the Apple TV showed me riding Watopia. Wattage and distance were consistent on both, but the map functionality showed me plodding along in London. When I saved from Apple TV, it saved the ride based upon Watopia. Apple TV 4K 32GB, and iPhone 6s running iOS 11.2.
  • Pretty much useless

Great idea My experience was buggy and crashed constantly iPhone 7+ to Windows 10 (well within Zwift specs)
  • Better than the regular app, just a few more tweaks.

This is so much easier to use than your main app. I am blind so use voiceover, and this was very easy and intuitive. Only a couple of buttons that I couldn’t read. Once the main app is accessible, this companion app will be amazing!
  • Piss poor app!

Total waste of time and money!!! Be fore warned!
  • Solid app

I absolutely love what you guys are doing with zwift, I just recently joined and actually decided to get a smart trainer of my own because of zwift. The only issue I still have is that the connection integrity when using an apple watch as an HRM is still quite poor. The watch app will almost regularly drop it's connection while riding and will only reconnect at random. I'm confident you guys are working it out and I'm excited to see the fix.
  • Loving the redesigned interface!

Haven't gone through all the features yet but it looks well done!
