  • Does some things well....

    By Chris1960!
It definitely teaches you to find chords and notes without looking at the fretboard because you have to follow the bouncing ball. However, I am almost through level 5 in a few weeks and haven’t learned to play any songs. You definitely need to supplement with some other type of learning. The knowledge path teaches you essential but very basic music theory. In the lead path it randomly throws scales at you without much explanation. You can choose to let it pick lessons for you or you can just go from level to level on your own. The video game like play is good and bad. It challenges you to progress. It gets confused by its own music so you have to wear earphones. In fact you could do the whole thing without even hearing yourself play. The good is that it gives you a feeling that you are progressing and you are but you can’t rely on it alone to teach you. In fact it has inspired me to get lessons from a real instructor.
  • Love it except for one thing...

    By GoPuppies101
I love it but I can't figure out how to make my own music. And another thing is in lessons I never get to do different stuff it is always the same thing over and over
  • UPDATE: Why not use actual NOTES instead of balls?

    By GodBlessTX
It's been a while since I used the app and I just found out that they do use tabs and notes.
  • Fix it

Let me start of to say this is a good app but playing missions what ever you call it it don’t read all of my guitar notes thus making me fail missions please fix this I’m using iPhone 7

So yousician is good at the start. But it gets super hard later on. I quit yousician because I hated it so much. They make it hard and I wouldn’t waste any money on this trash. BUY A MUSIC TEACHER. More money but 9999999999999x better than the trash app yousician.
  • Success story

    By Loaferson
I’ve been “playing” guitar for 10 years, had multiple teachers, lessons, tutorials...bought books and other programs. This has been the only method that has kept me engaged, challenged me beyond my own beliefs and improved my skills.
  • 😠 give us the old version staff

    By Boss.94 ;)
I used to practice on it when the app freely let you without feedback function Now it’s doesn’t let practice at all ( only 10 minutes ) 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 & I can’t pay this app I’m too poor 😞
  • Good idea

    By Omfgwtf12346jshdbab
The idea is good but when they tell me to pluck a string, it’s like a second or 2 delayed.
  • I thought I couldn’t, but then I found this!

    By Cherryleaf🍒
I’ve had Yousician for a couple weeks now and I amazed at my results! I’ve always wanted to learn how to play guitar but I’ve never had the chance until now. I thought I would fumble my way into failure, but here I am playing some really good songs! I can’t wait to surprise my family and friends with my newfound skill. My only annoyance is that you have to pay for more than one lesson a day, but it’s a small price for what this app has to offer. Everyone learning an instrument deserves to learn though Yousician!
  • Best piano app for learning

    By Barneck333
Love it. Am learning so much!
