Phenomenal UI. Attractive and functional. Best Reddit app on the App Store.
  • To be honest...

This is probably the best off-brand app I’ve ever used. The lack of ads, the funny easter eggs, and the absolute easiest layout make this a joy to use. Please download this, you won’t regret it.

Why Are There So Many Bugs With This Update? Holy crap. It’s becoming unusable. It freezes anytime I comment or post. What is going on?

I haven’t had an issue with this app up until a few weeks ago. Now it no long tracks my current upvotes and, as of today, won’t allow me to start a new topic without the app crashing. I have an iPhone XS Max.
  • Easily the best App for browsing Reddit

    By JD--_
Far and away the easiest to browse Reddit with. I have tried the official app, Bacon Reader and several other free options. I ended up with Apollo (paid for the ad-free version after trying it out for a few weeks) and my toilet time goes by without a hitch. Pros: Atheistically pleasing, very few crashes compared to the official app, lots of customization options to satisfy many different styles of browsing. Developer is very quick to update with bug fixes and features. A++ Cons: Crashes pretty randomly when it does crash (cannot ever tell why it crashed!), which is very, very rare and keeps getting better with each update. It does still happen on occasion so it’s worth mentioning. That said, it’s miles and miles better than any other app I have dealt with. Also, some of the gestures are extremely touchy at times. I often find myself backing up accidentally when I try to scroll down further, no matter which way I set the gesture to work. This can be extremely frustrating as it resets the comment structure (maximizes comments, resets ordering, makes it hard to find where you were in the comment section prior) although this might just be my giant hands causing some of this. I still give this app 5 Stars because the features work extremely well! All of that said, this is still the absolute best app available for Reddit (at this time) and I would highly recommend you try this app out, ESPECIALLY if you’re in the market for an app with a dark theme built in (paid version ONLY, I believe.) I very much appreciate the work that has gone into this mobile app, bless you Christian!
