we paid for premium and could not even get it to load on any of our ios devices. no customer service for troubleshooting. spent 2 hours with my spouse trying to figure it out. ultimately deleted. next stuck trying to figure out how to get a refund.

We purchased premium and wish it could be undone. The VPN causes major performance issues with slower phones and quickly drained battery life. Also, the usage schedule is pointless. I would like my kids to be able to access some apps anytime they want but you can either turn it all off or all on. For example, while my kids are at school I would like them to be able to access their music (teachers allow kids to use headphones in some classes) but not Snapchat, instagram etc.

This was recommended by a friend. I of course wanted to block inappropriate sites and screen time, but what I really wanted/needed was a real-time alert when my son was supposed to be doing homework, but "got distracted" watching HISHE or minecraft videos. THIS AP DOES EXACTLY THAT! ...so whether I'm cooking dinner or working in my greenhouse, I know if he has "strayed" and getting distracted. I don't have to walk in the house after 2 hours with him having gotten ZERO work done and say, "what have you been doing for the last 2 hours?" I get an email, "Joe tried to access YouTube but was denied access" Lastly, I personally use Apple products, but after reading the reviews, before buying him a phone, I purchased him a cheap $99 Android /Samsung phone. I'm very happy with the app so far.
  • Update for iOS 12

This app needs an update for iOS 12 for it to run smoothly! Internet doesn’t want to connect at all unless the phone is restarted. The UI has not been updated to the iPhone X screen yet and it is very annoying.
  • Inconsistent

I thought this app was great at first, but then after a few days the phone wouldn’t always shut off at 9:00 like it was supposed to and apps that were blocked could still be accessed. It’s not a super helpful app if it isn’t reliable.

Many angry children are posting 1 star reviews, I’m one, but hear me out. Pros: Filters Blocks apps during screen off times Cons: Tremendously slowed down devices There are work arounds Keeps me off a lot of educational/harmless sites I have to wait till 11:00 (when my time is up) to take away the “lost iphone” message that says “time is up!” so my alarm will work and still it only works 2/3 of the time. freezes up my phone on social media apps uses a ton of battery to run keeps me off the school wifi because it blocks vpns location services on websites say i’m in saint Louis Final consensus: DO NOT recommend Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good idea absolutely botched in execution. Needs a lot of work to be anywhere close to good. It makes my life a whole lot more frustrating and my dad plans on keeping it until i’m out the house. In the unstoppable growing and advancement of technology your children should be at the top, not hindered because they use their phone a lot.

Not as advertised. Glad I used the trial before just purchasing. Pay attention to the negative reviews!! Won’t load calls or texts when it clearly advertises it does. And it said there was usage on Amazon app and that app isn’t even installed on this phone!!!! WTH?? Stay away!!!
  • Too Expensive

My main complaint about this app is that it automatically assumes that you have 5 kids to monitor and prices the application accordingly. I only have one child with a device and $55 PER YEAR is expensive. It’s easier just to take the device away and monitor it manually. I agree with other reviews that the reporting can be better. They are on the right track with the overall idea, however, they need to make this more affordable as well.
