Not accurate

Fear monger diagnosis showed the app multiple pictures of different spots of a rash and its diagnosis was shingles then HPV. A friend just had a severe case of shingles so I went to a medical clinic while traveling and wasted a day of my vacation to find out it was simply dermatitis caused by coming from a cold climate to a hot one

This app is wrong 21 times out of 25

I bought 25 picture a week for the AI chat, and uploaded the same skin rash. To it 25 times and it guessed wrong 22 times, only got it 4 time even then it wasn’t higher than 70% possible of being correct. Same to cause I saw a doctor right after and that’s how I know it was wrong. The pictures were great with in specs, in the center of the picture, the proper distance away. This is a scan app I feel like being wrong that many times in 4k? Come bro
Not accurate enough!

This and other skin lesion analyzers on the App Store are regulated medical devices. There are only 3 that have shown enough data to be approved, and this is not one of them! Their claimed performance numbers for melanoma (the most dangerous form of skin cancer) are not high enough to guarantee it won’t accidentally miss a melanoma! Days and weeks matter with melanoma! Ask Jimmy Buffet what happens when you don’t catch melanoma early enough.

Which was later confirmed by my PCP! Thank you for creating and providing this technology.
Same Photos-Different Results

Submitted the same photo back-to-back and got two greatly different results—One high risk, one low risk. App should not use “Dermatologist” in the name.
Don’t waste your money

I never write reviews but the money I wasted on this app makes me want to.
First things first, its results are wildly inaccurate. I fed it 7 pics of a growth I had an 6 of the results said it was 75-95% chance cancer. Doc could tell at first look it likely wasn’t.
Even worse though is how bad the interface is. You can’t edit old scans in case you mislabeled them, and “adding to an existing scan” overwrites it, making the old one(s) inaccessible.
And on top of all that, the “reports” make you wait for them to be “generated” but are in no way customized for you. It’s literally a copy/paste of relevant info for what it “diagnosed” you with.
Yeah, it’s not supposed to replace a doctor. But if it can’t even remotely diagnose anything, and is this inaccurate, I’d just call it a scam.
Do not trust, please seek advice from dermatologist!

I was curious so I gave it a try. To be clear, I have a history of melanoma which was between stage 1 and 2 when it was removed and a second procedure occurred to remove the area around and below the original spot. I have a few spots that my dermatologist has been monitoring and one in particular has grown rapidly over the last year and now one side doesn’t match the other at all, it has blurry edges, etc. one side is like brown blotches branching off from a mole if that makes sense. This app scanned the picture and got it all wrong. This app tried to say it was something like a birth mark. My actual dermatologist is certain it’s melanoma. For reference, I am extremely pale and have used UV tanning daily for a long time but have stopped over the last 2 years and switched to spray tans. I have blonde hair and freckles. I have a history of melanoma.

It says it’s accurate it’s not. I am a wrestler and it’s common for me to get weird skin stuff. When I showed it ring worm(I wasn’t sure at the time) it told me I had herpes and had cancer. Not accurate for bumps or weird spots on skin.
